Tugral: That's all from today's live coverage, hope you enjoyed it a lot. I would like to thank my co-commentator Harshdeep and corer Zeeshan who helped me throughout the match. Stay connected to us for some more exciting contests across the match, till then take care and very goodbye.
Qasim Akram (Central Punjab Captain): "First of all thank god I am back in form. I am taking the responsibility to lead and make the team win matches. Our bowlers have bowled excellently, today they saved a lot of runs in the last couple of overs only then we were able to restrict Northern to a score of 162."
Umar Amin (Northern Captain): "Yes, we scored 20 to 30 runs short of our target. I would like to give credit to the Central Punjab bowlers, they bowled very well and did not give us any chance to score runs easily. The pitch was a bit slow in my opinion as the ball was not hitting the bat the way we expected. I have been telling the bowlers from the beginning that we are not able to execute our plans properly, due to which we are suffering."
Shoaib Malik: "There was a lot of momentum but when you bat in the middle order, you should try to get a good start. I just came today with my mind to score runs and play at less dot ball and this strategy worked for me. And I would like to give this Man of the Match award to Qasim because he played a great captaincy innings today."
Man of the Match: Shoaib Malik and Qasim Akram
Tugral| It was the display of sheer dominance by Qasim Akram & Shoaib Malik in the second innings. Central Punjab has sneaked away with a third victory of this tournament by chasing down a total of 162 and winning the match by 6 wickets with 2 overs spare.

Northern started off in a scintillating manner as both the openers took over the bowlers straight away. The Northern managed to score 48 in the powerplay with the loss of one wicket. Nasir Nawaz and Mohammad Huraira batted well together for the First wicket partnership as they added 47 runs together. At one point a score of well over 180 looked like a walk in the park but the bowlers of Central Punjab pulled it back nicely and restricted the Northern to 162 in 20 overs. Nasir Nawaz was the top scorer as he played a glorious knock of 82 runs in just 57 deliveries.

For Central Punjab, Aamer Yamin was the pick of the bowler. He took three wickets in his last over and gave away 29 runs. Hunain and Faizan also uprooted one wicket each respectively.

Chasing 162, Central Punjab starts the chase in the opposite manner. During the powerplay itself, 51 runs were put on the board, from where it became very easy to win the match but Punjab lost 3 of their top-order batters. After that, Shoaib Malik came to support skipper Qasim Akram, who started scoring runs at a brisk rate with Akram, both shared a 103-run partnership for the fourth wicket and got the team very close to the target. Zaman Khan gave a breakthrough to his team in the form of Akram's wicket. He was dismissed after scoring 58 runs in 37 balls. Shoaib Malik played an unbeaten sensational knock of 62* off just 39 with 6 boundaries and 2 maximums. Irfan Khan Niazi came in and ended with an unbeaten 1* to complete the chase.

For Northern, Sohail Tanvir was the pick of the bowler. He took one wicket in 3 overs and gave away 15 runs. Salman, Zaman, and Mehran also uprooted one wicket each respectively. Let's wait for the presentation.

17.3 Z Khan to Q Akram
W OUT!!! Caught!!! Tried to go for the big one but Khan gets his man at the end of that slower one onto the pads. There's the big wicket of Qasim Akram. Fuller delivery and on-the-off stump line.  Qasim gets down on his knee and looks to hoick that one over mid-wicket. He doesn't get the middle of the blade and ends up hitting it straight towards the deep mid-wicket fielder who runs forward to take a brilliant catch.
9 needed off the last 16 deliveries...
17.2 Z Khan to Q Akram
4 Made room and FOUR!!!! Slams that ball to the boundary as he shows the ball the full face of his bat
17.1 Z Khan to S Malik
1 Short wide and pace off and Malik geta a single from the off side.
