Deepak: That concludes the second semifinal of the 6IXTY and Trinibago Knight Riders thumped Barbados Royals by 3 wickets and qualified for the finals. We witnessed the brilliant display of batting by the Riders.
Earlier Royals scored 101 runs at the loss of 5 wickets in 10 overs and set the target of 102 for the Riders.
Riders came out to chase down 102 runs and started their inning on a high note as they were able to score 42 runs for the first wicket before Narine departed scoring 35 runs off 16 balls.
Tom Webster in the middle scored 27 runs off 13 balls and Russell 17 runs off 13 balls powered Riders to seal the match for their team and make their way into the finals.
On the other hand, Corbin Bosch and Obed McCoy shared one wicket each for the Royals.
