Luvnith Sisodia (Winning Captain): We were thinking about not repeating the mistakes from the last game. Lost wickets in a cluster last time. The way the bowlers bowled in the second half was excellent. Very simple - we have to win the two games.
BU Shivakumar (Man of the Match): Just want to contribute to the team's success. That's my main goal. Been known as a batting allrounder. When you bowl well you have more confidence. Give equal importance to batting and bowling. Bowling was more pleasing. I'm known for cutting the ball well.
BU Shivakumar is the Man of the Match for his 61* off 52 and 1-17 in 3 overs.

The Strikers having put into Bat 1st started off well with 78 runs put on for the 1st wicket between S Hoover(38) and Sharath BR(36). Both of them got in the space of a few balls. D Anthony got out early for 7. Siddharth(23 off 25) and Chaitanya S with 32* off 28 could not get the momentum and ended the innings with 146 for 5 in their 20 overs. V Koushik was the pick of the bowlers with 2-29 in 4. Shivakumar, Doddamani, and Naveen MG got a wicket a piece to restrict the Strikers to 146.

Chasing 147 to win, L Sisodia and BU Shivakumar got off to an excellent start as they put on 107 inside 13 overs. Luvnith Sisodia scored a brilliant 62 off 38 balls and was well supported by Shivakumar who stayed unbeaten on 61 off 52. Mithun went out cheaply for 1. Liyan Khan came in a got the finishing touches with 19* off 12.
The Shivamogga bowling was poor overall. Gowtham and Shreyas got a wicket a piece and the rest of them were pretty ordinary.
Their NRR has also received a boost thanks to the margin of victory. A complete performance by the Hubli Tigers keeps them in contention for the playoffs.
