Match Details
That brings an end to our coverage for this game. Do switch tabs as the Hubli Tigers take on Mysore Warriors in the 22nd match of the competition. Saipavan Janaki, here signing off, on behalf of my co-commentator Deepak and our scorer Ashok. Ta-Ta Byeee!!!!
The lengths that Bhandage hit were a challenge for batsmen and he picked wickets of the batsmen who were batting well. (on his dismissal) I saw the ball till the end but it was just one of those days when you don't hit it or get the pad in between. We were number four before this game and with these two crucial points, we are number three now."
Devdutt Padikkal is named the Player of the Match!!!
Saipavan: Gulbarga Mystics as they chase down 145 with 15 balls to spare. With this six-wicket win, they register their fourth win of the competition and replace Mangalore United at the third spot in the points table.
Chasing 145, the Mystics got off to a solid start, thanks to Padikkal. He played some beautiful strokes and took advantage of the fielding restrictions. Rohan Patil departed on 1 but Padikkal played well and took his side to 43/1 at the end of the powerplay. Acharya was joined by Paddikal and they both put up a solid partnership.
Both Padikkal and Acharya never allowed the Blasters bowlers to settle down as they pounced on anything loose and kept the scoreboard ticking. They both put 61 between them before Acharya departed at 18. Afterward, Shrijith also contributed his 12 runs in the middle and was dismissed. Skipper Manish Pandey looked to finish the game early but he departed at 13 runs. Padikkal remained unbeaten on 78 and ensured there were no more hiccups in the chase as he guided his side across the line with 15 balls to spare.

Blasters lost 5 wickets at 80 runs on board.
