That's it from our coverage of the 20th Maharaja Trophy KSCA T20 fixture between Bengaluru Blasters and Shivamogga Strikers hosted by M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. We hope you enjoyed our coverage. Megh Mandaliya here, signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Vatsal Negandhi and scorer/analyst Ashok Dayma. Tune in for another doubleheader tomorrow, which will again be hosted by M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. See you there!

Mayank Agarwal ( Winning Captain): I thought it was a fantastic inning from Chethan. The way he paced his innings and scored his shots was unbelievable. Even was Joshi did in between was extraordinary. I think the captain is only as good as his players. Credit to the boys for the way they are performing. Heartening to see that different player put their hands up and do well for us.
Chethan LR (Player of the Match): Feels really good. It is always special. I just wanted to focus on my shots after Mayank got out. Aniruddha just asked me to stay till the end. The captain is always backing me, he is a good captain and a legend.
LR Chethan has been awarded the player of the match for his 105 (55).
It is now time for the post-match presentation...
Megh: The Blasters have won 5 out of their 7 games now, and they must be riding high on confidence. A victory today also roughly cemented their place in the top four. The Shivamogga Strikers have only managed to clinch a single game so far, and with today’s loss, they are virtually out of the tournament. They have three games to go, and it would require a monumental effort from the Strikers to qualify from here. The Blasters will now face Gulbarga Mystics tomorrow, and the Strikers will now sustain a day break and will now face the Hubli Tigers on Friday. Stay Tuned for the post-match presentation!
Megh: That concludes the 20th Maharaja Trophy KSCA fixture between the Bengaluru Blasters and Shivamogga Strikers. The Bengaluru Blasters must be pleased with their performance today in the field. They were clearly the dominating side today and deserved the two points.

After winning the toss and electing to the field first, the Strikers restricted the Blasters to an above-par score of 191 in 20 overs. A scintillating maiden T20 ton by LR Chethan ensured them a secured position in the first innings. The right-hander played shots all around the ground and finished with a score of 105 (55), including eight boundaries and six maximums. Aniruddha Joshi played the second fiddle and played a blazing knock of 54 (28).

The 83-run partnership between Chethan and Joshi gave a massive lead to the Blasters. In the second innings, the Strikers started well, scoring 49 of the first six, but they could never really accelerate their innings. On the bright side, Rohan Kadam continued his dazzling form and scored 67 (39), including seven boundaries and three maximums. The Southpaw was looking to take the Strikers home, but his run was ended by Pradeep T in the 15th over. Since then, the Strikers constantly kept losing wickets and could never really set their foot back in the game. Spinners at the Chinnaswamy stadium tend to get help from the surface, and that was also the case today.

Jagadeesha Suchith gripped the bowl firmly and pitched it in the right areas, he finished with the figures of 2/27 in his spell. In the first innings, Captain K Gowtham also bowled quicker in the air and hit the deck hard alongside attaining 2 scalps by giving away only 27. However, it was Pradeep T' 4/28 that demolished the Striker's batting. In the end, the Strikers were completely outplayed as Bengaluru Blasters win this encounter by a hefty margin of 25 runs.
