Karun Nair | Winning Captain: "Its just one of those games where both teams fought hard, we came out on top luckily. I am really proud with the efforts from our bowlers. (On his dismissal) I wanted to give myself more opportunities to score runs, really unhappy getting out that way. I am proud with our performance, the boys stood up, great experience for them. We were able to get crucial wickets at the right stage of the game. (On Mysuru crowd) We loved this support from the crowd, we hope they come out in same numbers tomorrow too. We are taking one game at a time this tournament."

Shubhang Hegde, Player of the Match: "Yea, it's something we planned for (Mayamk's wicket) what we saw on the last night. Today the ground was a lot drier so it helped. I enjoyed batting, could have made more runs if I could had got a couple of more balls. They were in the game but the wicket of Mayank turned the match in our favour."

It's all over here the Mysuru Warriors take a clinical victory in front of their home crowd. They overcome a strong Bengaluru Blasters side by just 6 runs. They move up the points table up to second spot with having 6 points to their name, they are well and truly maintaining the gap with the others. The league is well and truly open now.

Bengaluru Blasters opted to bowl, they got rid of Karun Nair cheaply as he fell victim to a blunder from the umpire. Pavan Deshpande and Nihal Ulhas steadied the ship with some counter attacking shots, Nihal fell soon after. Pavan went on his merry ways to notch a fine fifty (55 off 36) including 7 fours and 2 mammoth sixes, but was amateurishly runout, Shreyas Gopakl came in and slammed a blistering cameo along with Shubhang Hegde took the score past the 170 mark.

Mysuru Warriors had their tails up in the first ten overs with the ball, they removed the dangerous opening pair of Mayank Agarwal and L Chethan very cheaply. KV Aneesh and Shivkumar Rakshith held the innings well, but Shreyas Gopal struck twice in the ninth over removing Rakshith and Suchith in successive deliveries.

Aneesh KV (48 off 37) and Aniruddha Joshi (29 off 23) kept the blasters alive in the chase with their scintillating hitting, both added 63 for the fifth wicket and were slowly running away with the game. Both fell soon after which saw the wheels fell off the chase, the Warriors asserted their claws deep into this contest, suffocated the Bengaluru's lower middle order and seized their path to victory.

The Mysuru Warriors bowling attack was splendid. Shreyas Gopal and Vidhyadhar Patil chipped with two wickets to their name. Shubhang Hegde picked a crucial wicket of Mayank Agarwal and pocketed three amazing catches. Aditya Goyal was the star who picked 3/32 which completely hampered the Blasters chase.

4 Four!! But it doesn't matter, Mysore Warriors have sealed the deal by six runs. It was a length ball outside off, he swung his bat hard got a thick edge on it and it raced away towards third man for four.

The criowd errupts as Mysuru hold their nerves in the end.. 11 to win off the last ball.
