Milestone
That's it from all of us for this game. Do switch tabs as Mysore Warriors will be taking on the Bengaluru Blasters in the 14th match. This is me, Akshay Bhide, signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Shashank Surly and scorer Dushyant Kumar. Bye bye.

Abhimanyu Mithun | Hubli Tigers Skipper: "After the last match, we had a meeting and discussed how our fast-bowling attack is and asked the bowlers to build pressure with the new ball. Happy to see them execute the plans. We tried to bowl more dot balls and it worked for us today. Taha is a match-winner for us and as a senior pro, he stepped up and showed us how to finish things. We had senior batters so I knew they were going to take responsibility and help us chase down the total."

Mohammed Taha | Player of the Match: "Initially we lost quick wickets, so took my time to get to build a good partnership. I have been part of this side for a long time and have looked to perform whenever called upon. I will look to continue this form for the upcoming matches."
Mohammed Taha is the Player of the Match.
Time for the presentations then..
Akshay: A convincing victory for the Hubli Tigers as they beat the Shivamogga Strikers by six wickets. The Strikers continue to struggle as they have lost their fifth game on the trot and remain winless in this year’s competition. The Tigers’ bowlers set up a platform for the win before Taha played a match-winning knock to help his side grab their second win.

Chasing 134, the Tigers didn’t have the best of starts, losing Luvnith Sisodia in the first over and Swapnil Yelave in the second over. Mohammed Taha along with Srinivas Sharath started to resurrect the innings. They started building a partnership as the Strikers scored 50 at the end of the powerplay.

Taha kept playing his strokes and Srinivas played the role of a second fiddle to perfection as both played sensibly in the middle overs. Taha raced to his fifty in just 31 balls and laid a solid platform for a big win. Sharath also played some fantastic shots as they both put a 100-run stand between them. Sharath departed on 41, with just 11 required to win the game. Taha remained unbeaten on 78 to take his side across the line with 16 balls to spare.

Earlier in the day, the Strikers were asked to bat first. They had the worst possible start as they lost their top order early in their innings. It was a collapse as they were reeling at 23/4 at the end of their powerplay. They lost another wicket in the next over and were struggling at 26/5 before Krishnamurthy Siddharth and Avinash D resurrected the innings.

Both Siddharth and Avinash took some time to settle in. Once they got their eye in, they started playing their strokes freely. Both played some brilliant shots as Siddharth brought up a well-composed fifty. They started cutting loose and some lusty blows in the end helped them post 133 on the board. Siddharth remained unbeaten on 62 whereas Avinash scored 41. Vasuki Koushik and Abhimanyu Mithun picked up three and two wickets respectively to help their side restrict the Strikers to a low total which they chased down without much fuss.

17.2 U Aiyappa to M Taha
1 THERE IT IS!! The winning runs and it poetically comes of the bat of Mohammed Taha. Length ball on the fourth stump line, Taha turns it wide of mid on and gets down to the other end and shakes hand with the Shivamogga players.
17.1 U Aiyappa to M Taha
4 FOURR!! Short and at fifth stump line, Taha hangs back and cuts it wide of the point fielder and the ball races down to the vacant deep pointregion and hits the fence. 1 more run to win then.
17.1 U Aiyappa to M Taha
WD Wide to start the 18th over, full and angling down the leg side, Aiyappa will has to reload it again.

16.4 S Hoover to T Singh
4 FOUR!! Tushar Singh is off the mark with a glorious shot. Back of a length ball, wide of off, Tushar glances it past the point fielder and the ball races down to the deep backward point area for four runs.

16.3 S Hoover to A Mithun
W WICKET!! Mithun gone for a golden duck. Short and wider, Mithun looks to pull this one to the on side, gets a leading edge, goes straight up in the air, skipper K Gowtham settles at cover region and takes a well judged catch. Strikers are fighting for their pride now.
16.2 S Hoover to M Taha
1 Short and wide of off, Taha bunts it down to sweeper cover region and gets a single.
16.1 S Hoover to M Taha
