Presentations coming up shortly.
VATSAL: The Mangalore United have cruised to victory by 8 wickets as they chase down 156 in 18 overs. Mangalore has played 3 and won 3.

Opting to Bat 1st, Shivamogga Strikers started off poorly as they lost 2 wickets for not too many on the board. Vinay Sagar (6) and KV Siddharth(7) were dismissed cheaply. Sharath and R Kadam stitched a good partnership of 52 before Sharath was run-out for 21. S Hoover came in and played some wonderful shots to score 25 off 16. R Kadam played for most of the innings as he brought up his 2nd fifty of the tournament.
He eventually departed for 64 off 49 balls. Avinash D scored an unbeaten 13, in the end, to get the Strikers to 155 in their 20 overs.

The Mangalore United pacers were on the mark from the 1st over, Sharath got 1-25 in his 4. V Vyashak and M Venkatesh picked up 3 a-piece for not too many. The Spinners bowled poorly for the United which allowed the Strikers to go past 150.

Chasing 156, United lost their skipper and star player R Samarth early for just 2.

M Noronha and N Jose built an excellent partnership of 58 in 7 overs before Noronha was dismissed for 27. A Verma came in at no.4 and got going immediately. N Jose and A Vermna put on an unbeaten 97 inside 10 overs. A Vermna ended with an unbeaten 41 off 28 balls and the star of the chase was N Jose who scored 85* in just 56 balls with some sublime stroke-making. He definitely looks like a star in making.

Shivamogga Strikers' bowling was poor overall. S Hoover picked a wicket early and R Wadhwa got 1-28 in his 3 overs. The rest of the bowlers were below par and the Mangalore United chased this score down with ease.
