That's it from our side as well. Thank you for joining from all around the world. This is Deepak Prakash signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Ayan and scorer Ashok. Do join us for the second game of today's doubleheader of Maharaja T-20. Just switch the tabs and join, until then Ta-Ta, Bye-Bye.
R Samarth, Mangalore United Skipper and Player of the Match: "No nerves at all. Everyone was prepared. We spent 4-5 sessions together despite the rain. The bowlers bowled well and got wickets upfront. The chase could have been tricky, but we went about going in our own way and were happy to win. The form was good for all of us and Abhinav finished things off in style. We are happy with the win. Everyone is in form."
R Samarth is the Player of the Match.
Time for the post-match presentation ceremony with Charu Sharma.

Deepak: Thatโ€™s the end of the first game of Maharaja T-20 between the Hubli Tigers and Mangalore United. Mangalore United defeated the Hubli tigers by  8 wickets as they chased down 112 runs target easily.

Earlier Hubli Tigers were invited to bat first in the first inning and they scored 119 runs at the loss of 9 wickets in the first inning. A little bit of drizzle between the innings break and the target was revised to 112 runs in 18 overs.

Ravikumar Samarth and Macneil Noronha (6 of 7) Came out to open the inning for United but didnโ€™t get the start they wanted as Noronha departed in the second ball of the third over scoring just 6 runs off 7 balls. Nikin Jose joined skipper Samarth at number 3 and the duo started hitting the ball beautifully and added 39 runs in the powerplay. The duo built a partnership of 67 runs for the second wicket as Jose gave his wicket to skipper Mithun in the 2nd ball of the 12th over and departed scoring 23 runs off the 29 balls. Manohar joined Skipper at number 4 and started playing good shots. Skipper Samarth batted till the end and scored a brilliant 57 runs off  41 balls. Abhinav Manohar scored 25 runs off 19 balls and finished the game with a six.

On the other hand skipper, Abhimanyu Mitun and Zahoor Farooqi picked up one wicket each.

The defending champions Hubli Tigers have been beaten here. A win by 8 wickets with 2 overs to spare to kickstart their campaign for Mangalore United.
