That's it from our coverage from match 27 of the WBBL between Sydney Thunder and Sydney Sixers. Ninaad Dixit here signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Ayan Chatterjee and scorer/analyst Zeeshan Naiyer. Stay tuned for more cricket coverage from around the globe.
Ashleigh Gardner has been awarded the Player of the Match Award.
A brilliant team performance from the Sydney Sixers have won them their sixth game of the season as they take down Thunder by 15 runs. After a brilliant first innings where they scored 163 for the loss of 6 wickets on the back of Ashleigh Gardner's 53, the Sixers came back and picked up regular wickets and choked the batters for runs to get home by 15 runs defending the total.

Skipper Rachael Haynes top scored with 37 and stitched a 53-run fourth wicket partnership with Chloe Tryon (32 off 21). It was the only substantial partnership in the innings as Lauren Cheatle (3/21) and Gardner (3/22) reaped the rewards and picked up 3 wickets apiece.

There was some entertainment in the later part of the innings as Hannah Darlington hit 2 sixes and a four to score 21 off just 9 deliveries. The Sixers remain at the top of the points table and the Thunder at the other hand are placed seventh with just 4 points to their name.
