comfortable win for Perth Scorchers-W as they beat the Sydney Thunder-W by 9
wickets in a pretty easy chase for their side.
Chasing a paltry 89 for victory, Scorchers-W got off to a good start courtesy of Mooney and Devine. The duo added 55 for the first wicket inside 10 overs. Mooney was dismissed for 19. Devine stayed unbeaten on 44 and Green gave her company with 15* to chase down the total.
Thunder-W
bowled well in patches but did not get the breakthrough. C Tryon got the only
wicket of Mooney. A huge loss for the Thunder-W here and they have lost 2 games
early in the competition.

in the day, Sydney Thunder Women won the toss and opt to bat first. They started their innings with Tammy Beaumont and Phoebe
Litchfield. They got off to a disastrous start as they lost 3 wickets
at 8 runs on board. The top order failed to score for the team. Tahlia
Wilson joined Learoyd. They both built up a partnership of 54 runs
for the 5th wicket before Tahlia Wilson departed
at 28 runs off 35 balls with the help of four fours. Learoyd struggled
in the middle and was dismissed at 26 runs off 40 balls. Sydney Thunder
Women are finished at 88/8 in the 20 overs.

scoring rate from starting and keeping the under constant pressure. Lilly
Mills was the pick of the bowler from Pakistan, conceded 12 runs in his 4 overs
spell, and pocketed 2 wickets. Kapp bowled well, gave away 15 runs in his 4
overs, and scalped 2 wickets while Alana King bagged 2 wickets in 4 overs
for 17. Devine took one wicket in his four overs spell.
