Australia held their nerves in the end and have snatched victory from the jaws of defeat. They win the match by 4 wickets and 4 balls to spare. This was India's highest score against Australia in T20I and the second-highest chase ever for Australia. That's it from us today, I am Ovaise Shariff signing off on behalf of my co-commentators, AkshayaKrishna Polya and Arijit Kundu, alongside scorer/analyst Manish Bishnoi. A special thanks to our guest Badal Pareek. Hope you enjoyed the coverage. Until next time, it's goodbye and goodnight!!
Cameron Green (Player of the Match):  "Yeah, was finding it a bit of difficult initially. Being with Finchy, at the start, he helped me well to get set. Hardik played well, I think, it was a pleasure to watch him bat. Not sure about opening the innings. I'll leave it up to the coaches to think about it."
Player of the Match: Cameron Green.
There is a slight drizzle now at Mohali!
Aaron Finch (Australia Captain): "Not sure about that, haha. That was a great chase. It was a good contest between bat and ball. In the end, we did manage to get past the total. Ofcourse after losing a couple of early wickets, the pressure is on. But, our batters showed good intent. They scored runs and stitched together good partnerships. Going into the World Cups, all these positives help us a lot. I am happy with the overall performance."
Glenn Maxwell with the most energetic Player of the Match Award.
Game Changer of the Match Award goes to Matthew Wade.
Trusted Player of the Match Award goes to Nathan Ellis.
Rohit Sharma(India Captain): "I don't think we bowled that well. I think we didn't take our chances properly as well. I think we batted brilliantly. It was a great game for us to understand where we were wrong and what more we can do.

There was something (dew) there, we know that whenever we come to Mohali, it's a high-scoring ground. We knew that we needed to take wickets regularly, but I think they played really well, and played some fascinating shots as well.

If I would be in the changing room, I would be thinking to get that score as well. I think Australia would be hoping that as well. I mean, that one wicket between Wade and Tim David was an important one. If we had taken wicket there, we could have been in good position.

Yeah, I think we got a good score on the board. I think Hardik did very well as well. No matter how good a surface is, getting a good total is always impressive. I feel we need to work on our bowling more."
The presentations are here!
Matthew Wade: "Yeah, I like to make it a habit. I want to do it regularly for Australia. I love this role. Obviously, it was Green early on. But, batting with David was feeling good. He is a huge ball striker. The partnership with him was crucial.

Yeah, Greeny up at the top gave us a great start. It was a crucial role Green played tonight. We will try to make him regular up at the top, but for now, we aren't thinking much ahead. Green is a great all-rounder in the making. He is young, but he is already in that range of best players.

We always thought that a few good partnerships would do the job for us. Once we got a good start, we were always in the game. They were bowling yorkers well, but we were set to deal with those."
Dropped catches have cost the Indian team dearly today. Australia have won it quite comfortably in the end with 4 wickets and 4 balls to spare. They needed 40 of last 3 overs and Wade stepped up and delivered for the Aussies!!

Earlier in the day, Australia won the toss and opted to bowl first on a hard and flat-looking surface. Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul walked out to open the batting for India and were a bit watchful in the first couple of overs. Josh Hazlewood and Pat Cummins opened the bowling and extracted a lot of swing early on. India lost Rohit Sharma in the third over on 11 of 9, he was dismissed by Hazlewood. Virat Kohli walked out with a loud welcome by the crowd, he played 7 balls and scored just 2 runs before hitting one straight to the mid-on fielder.

KL Rahul and Suryakumar Yadav stitched a brilliant partnership and took India past the 100-run mark. Hazlewood was reintroduced into the attack in the 12th over and he was able to dismiss KL Rahul who was well set on 55 of just 35 balls.

Suryakumar Yadav contributed with an excellent 46 of just 25 but the star in the batting for India was Hardik Pandya. He was in beast mode today, he was batting like a dream right from the get-go. In spite of losing partners, he stuck to his strength and smashed the ball all around the park, finishing on an unbeaten 71 of just 30 balls. It was a breathtaking knock by Hardik Pandya, he finished with 3 sixes of the last 3 balls and took India to a huge total of 208!!

At the halfway mark, Australia fancied their chances of chasing down this target with dew coming in.. Finch and Green walked out to open the batting and Finch made his intentions clear, he hit a six off the first ball and took Australia to a flyer. Axar Patel was introduced into the attack and got the breakthrough straight away, dismissing Finch on 22 of 13.

The Indian bowlers had to be on the top of their game to defend this total which they weren't. The fielding was below par, they dropped 3 catches at crucial junctures of the game which cost them a lot.

Cameron Green and Steve Smith stitched a valuable partnership and took Australia past the 100-run mark. The pair had almost taken the game away from India but Umesh Yadav took back-to-back wickets and raised the hopes of the Indian team!

India pulled things back quite nicely, Australia needed 40 of the last 3 overs!! Wade played a blinder and took his team over the finish line with 4 balls still remaining, The left-hand batter was ably helped by Tim David who hit some lusty blows. Wade was simply brilliant and was helped by some poor bowling, fielding and dew!!

19.2 Y Chahal to P Cummins
4 FOURR!!! Cummins finishes it off in style.. Was a quicker delivery, on the off stump, Cummins punches it wide of the covers fielder and the ball races away towards the boundary line on this lightning-fast outfield. Australia win the match by 4 wickets!!

19.1 Y Chahal to T David
W Well tossed up, on the stumps, David rocks back and smashes it straight down the throat of the long-off fielder. Pandya doesn't drop those, he gets under it comfortably!! Chahal get the breakthrough but it's just way too late for the Indian team!!
Akshaya: Bhuvneshwar Kumar and 19th over! We have all seen this earlier. Matthew Wade almost seals the deal. India need to do something about their 19th over dilemma. Need just two now. Chahal to bowl this final over. First time Bhuvi has conceded 50+ runs in the T20Is.

4 OH NO!! 3 in a row!! Wade has almost won it for Australia will this hit, Was a length delivery once again, on the stump, Wade pulls again and gets a solid connection!! Hits it wide of the deep mid wicket fielder once again.. End of a very expensive over.
