Harsh: Eisakhel gets it done for Defenders, a huge six to win the match for his side. An unbeaten 56 of 52 deliveries sums up the second inning. Boost defenders are now the table topper with wins in all of their matches. The experienced Mohammad Nabi took two wickets in an over but was quite expensive in a low-scoring match giving 20 runs in two overs. Qais Ahmed bowled very well but didn't find the rhythm got some outside edge but it was all Eisakahel who took away the game from the Eagles.
The 45-runs partnership for the fourth wicket was the highest in the second inning. Haseebullah bowled well and took two crucial wickets but it wasn't enough to win the match. The Eagles were 20 to 30 runs short which made all the difference in the match.
Defenders being the table topper will now play the qualifier. Overall defenders bowler were quite good, especially the spinner who took the crucial wickets in the middle overs and set the temperament of the match. Lack of partnership in the middle overs took the game away for the Eagles.
