So that brings us to the end of this exciting Final of APL between two good sides. Today it was Coastal Riders who sneaked away with the victory and they became the champions of the inaugural edition of the Shriram Andhra premier league. Bezawada Tigers got off to a disastrous start while chasing the total of 177 runs, They lost 2 wickets in just 5.3 overs, Coastal Riders bowlers were all over the Bezawada Tigers' batters they didn't give away the easy runs and pressure was piling up on the batters, Avinash and Bhui tried to handle the sinking ship, they stitched a partnership of 25 runs for the 3rd wicket, but then Bhui got departed after scoring 15 runs, Avinash followed him to the dugout after scoring 23 runs. Bezawada Tigers failed to build the partnerships in the middle and the required run rate was piling up in the middle overs.

In the latter stage of the innings, Pranneth took over the Coastal Tigers bowlers he took the game down to the wire,21 runs were needed off the last over, but Praneeth failed to take his team over the line in the end as 7 runs were needed of the final ball Praneeth tried to smoke a maximum but ended up slicing the ball in the air. He played an excellent knock-off 48 runs off 28 deliveries with the help of 4 humungous sixes and a four.
S Ashish bowled pretty well tonight and he didn't let the batters score the runs against him, he continuously bowled in good lines and lengths and got rewarded for it, He scalped wickets and gave away just 18 runs off his 4-over spell. Munish Verma took a couple of wickets too.
Earlier in the game, Coastal Riders posted a total of 176 runs with the fall of 8 wickets. Hima Srinivas batted extremely well at one point in the innings it looked like they will not even get to a score, off 150 runs but Hima Srinivas scored 40 runs off 20 deliveries with the help of 3 mighty sixes and 3 boundaries. L Mohan and M Golamaru took 3 wickets each from the Bezawada Tigers side.
