5:05 PM IST | So, that's the end of the game here. This is Probuddha Bhattacharjee signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Badal Pareek and scorer/analyst Manish Bishnoi. You can switch tabs and follow the live action of Pakistan vs New Zealand ODI match. It's goodbye and good night from here for the time being!!!
Nathan Ellis (Player of the Match): "Feels good to be here. I got the opportunity today and did it. I tried to take the game deep as I can and eventually closed the game in the end. Break for a couple of days now and looking forward to the next couple of games."

4:58 PM IST| Probuddha: So, a thrilling chase at the end, thereby Hurricanes. Even though they slipped up towards the end, they ultimately got home. Hurricanes managed to emerge victorious by two wickets with 14 balls remaining in the match.

Earlier, the Hobart Hurricanes won the toss and decided to field first. Batting looked tough for the Stars from the very beginning as they kept losing wickets. However, a 60 runs partnership for the third wicket between Beau Webster (27 off 35) and Hilton Cartwright (57 off 47) stabilized the ship. But things fell apart once again after the pair were separated. After the struggles of the middle overs, the Stars managed to reach a total of 131 runs in their 20 overs for the loss of seven wickets.

In the chase, the Hurricanes lost Ben McDermott (2 of 3) early. But after that, Caleb Jewell took on the bowlers and gradually took the match away from the Stars. Zack Crawley (30 off 34) played a good supporting hand to Jewell (70 off 44), and they put the team in a position of strength. They lost their second wicket at 94 runs, and after this, there was a mini-collapse which put the Hurricanes under pressure.

They lost seven wickets for 35 runs, and the Stars strengthened their grip on the match. But in the end, they managed to get a victory by two wickets.
