We have been treated to some exciting game of cricket today. Both teams tried to take the game against each other and both were looking strong to win this contest, but the Vizag Warriors were way to strong in the end for the Godavari Titans as they convincingly win this contest by 44 runs, which is the biggest win in this years Andhra Premier League.

Godavari Titans opted to have a bowl first with the rain around, but their calculations went wrong as we didn't get to see any hint of rain today. Their bowling was way off their mark and got plundered by Ashwin Hebbar (43 off 28) and Uppara Girinath (44 off 34) as they put on a 98-run opening stand in just 57 balls. SK Ismail stepped up for the Godavari Titans with the ball as he completely dented the Warriors innings by picking 4-18 off his four overs, by not getting enough support from the other bowlers. Naren Reddy (25 off 23) and Dhruva Reddy (26 off 19) took the team to the 185 -run mark with a steady partnership of 40 from 34 balls.

Godavari Titans went about their chase with the right approach as they Hemanth Reddy (57 off 35) and Mamidi Vamsi Krishna's (31 off 17) onslaught set the right foundation for them as they made 80 runs in the powerplay. The Vizag spinners got their team right back in the contest by choking down the Titans and got them from 80-0 to 141-9. Gavvala Mallikarjuna got the breakthrough and ended with 2/33 for the day, but the real star with the ball was Midde Anjaneyulu as he got 3/6 off his four overs which included 2 maidens.

With this win the Vizag Warriors have bounced back into this tournament after suffering a hefty loss in their first match and come down from the last spot as Godavari Titans fall down to fourth spot with six points.
