We're done now on our end as well. We appreciate your participation from all across the world. On behalf of my co-commentator Akshaya Krishna Polya and Scorer/Analyst Raju Khariya, I, Deepak Prakash, am signing off. Please join us for the other fixtures across the world. Until then, Ta-Ta, Bye-Bye.

Kyle Mayers (Skipper Royals): "I think we didn't get enough runs on the board. We didn't recover after losing the top order. Jason did well to play the way he did. But the score wasn't big enough.

It will be a big challenge in the qualifier. It will be a day game. The conditions will be different. We have been playing fantastic cricket so far in the season. We wanted to win tonight to get the momentum going. But it didn't happen tonight. But, we will be continuing the good brand of cricket we are playing. Thank you."
Shimron Hetmyer(Skipper Warriors): "We've established a foundation for our style of play. Seamers arrived and did an excellent job. They executed quite well. As I keep reminding the guys to take one game at a time. Thanks to our supporters."
Shakib Al Hasan (Player of the Match): "It is a combination of everything. We have been in form in the last few games. We have won four games back-to-back. We have finished second on the points table, and it helps us as we can try twice to reach the finals.

Our bowlers, especially the spinners, bowled well. Tonight, it was the fast bowlers who stepped on the accelerator. We spinners just supported them. We didn't know about the good score on this pitch. But, once we restricted them to under 130.

We just needed to bat the way we have done so far. Yeah, Shepherd did well with the ball. Usually, he bowls with the new ball and doesn't bowl with the old ball. Tonight, he came back and bowled really well with the old ball. We will rest tonight and will plan tomorrow. Will come back again playing for a Guyana win."
7:50 AM IST | Deepak: Shakib Al Hasan's swashbuckling performance has assisted the Warriors in thrashing the Royals by five wickets. They won their last 4 games at their home ground and finished second on the points table.

After being asked to bat first, the Barbados Royals lost wickets quickly one after the other, and were eventually bowled out for 125 runs. The Royals' leading scorer, Jason Holder, scored 42 runs off 39 balls. On the other hand, Romario Shepherd was the best bowler, taking 3 wickets and conceding 14 runs in 3 overs.

The Warriors' innings, in response to 125 runs, got off to a rough start as Chandrapaul Hemraj departed in the opening over. He left the ground without opening his account. Shai Hope, and Gurbaz got the scoring going quickly, but Shai Hope didn't stick around for long, departing after 16 runs off 11 balls.

Shakib Al Hasan joined Gurbaz at number 4 and started scoring at a brisk pace. He completed his second fifty of the CPL on the occasion. The pair were able to add 79 runs for the 3rd wicket as Shakib departed, scoring 53 runs off 30 balls, and was followed by Hetmyer, who departed after scoring 10 runs off 5 balls. Keemo Paul, with an unbeaten 12 runs, in the end, sealed the match for the Warriors.

On the flip side, Obed McCoy was the pick of the bowlers for the Royals as he extracted a couple of wickets, giving away 22 runs in 3.3 overs. Kyle Mayors, Jason Holder, and Mujeeb Ur Rahman shared one wicket each.

Stay tuned for the presentations

14.1 O McCoy to R Gurbaz
W WICKETTT!!! Gurbaz can't finish it off for Guyana here. Around the wicket. Short delivery angling into the middle and leg stump line. Gurbaz backs away to play the cut though the off side. But no space for him to work it out. Gets the outside edge and the keeper is almost on the wrong foot but Thomas takes it trusting his right gloves. Good knock by Gurbaz as he steadied one end up.
2 needed off 6 overs.
