Vatsal: A Commanding win for the Barbados Royals as they beat the Trinbago Knight Riders by 8 wickets in a one-sided encounter.

Earlier in the day, TKR Putting into Bat 1^st got off to a poor start losing 4-37 at the 6.1 over-mark. Pooran who opened the batting today scored 52 off 43 in a well-complied inning. Narine contributed 30(31) in the 70-run partnership. None of the other batters got going and TKR ended with a paltry 132 all out.

Barbados Royals bowlers were brilliantly led by Mujeeb with 3-17 in 4 and Cornwall with 2-27 in his 4-over spell. McCoy got 2 for 30 and Holder rounded it off with 2 wickets.

Chasing 133, the Royals got off to a poor start losing Cornwall for just 1. Kyle Mayers played a sensational knock of 79 off just 36 with 10 boundaries and 5 maximums. He was ably supported by Bosch(33* off 43) who was in a partnership of 98 between the Royals batters. DeKock came in and ended with an unbeaten 15 to complete the chase.

Dupavillon picked up 2 wickets for the TKR side. Narine was economical in his spell. The TKR bowlers had a poor outing overall.

Barbados Royals pick their 6^th consecutive win this season and are looking like strong contenders to win the title.
