So, that is it from myself, Karthik Raj and my co-commentator, Ninaad as we sign off from this game. Stay tuned to a lot more matches including the fixture between New Zealand and Bangladesh tomorrow. It promises to be a Super Sunday as India also take on South Africa in the second ODI at Ranchi!
Babar Azam: "The bowlers did very well in the first six overs. As a captain I am very happy. We assessed the conditions and executed the plans. Shadab played very well and Nawaz' knock was also worthy. Very happy to get some rest. Looking forward to the next game."
Kane Williamson: "There were some good bits but we would like to get better in the next game. Pakistan were good with the bat and the ball, we failed to put a really good competitive total on the board. We didn't think that this will be so wet with the temperatures being so cold here. It was not a surface where you could get easy rhythm. Even in the second innings, it wasn't too easy. They were clinical in getting over the line, credit goes to Pakistan. We will switch on again, regroup and hope for a good game tomorrow night. We are playing on the same surface, so a bit challenging."
Babar Azam: "We started well in the batting. Me and Rizwan planned to play the first six overs as some dew was around. We have a plan regarding Shadab, he has some nice skills. I decided to play all the way and Shadab would take the chances. We settled at the wicket and then I decided to play the anchor. There was some dew and the ball was coming in nicely. The spinners didn't get too much help because of the dew."

GAME, SET AND MATCH. Pakistan with a resounding six-wicket victory as they post their second consecutive victory of this Tri-Series. The bowling attack led by Haris Rauf set up the win as they restricted New Zealand to a below-par 149-4!

In reply, Pakistan got off to a steady start with Babar Azam getting an early reprieve as Glenn Phillips dropped him at covers. After struggling for a while, Mohammad Rizwan was sent back for 4 off 12 balls as Tim Southee trapped him LBW in the 5th over. The score became 37-2 as Blair Tickner bowled a ripper to remove Shan Masood for a two-ball duck. This is when Pakistan decide to change up the batting order by promoting Shadab Khan to No.4. The move worked wonders as Shadab took on the Ish Sodhi and made sure the run-rate was in check. Babar Azam was also in cruise control as he eased into his 28th T20I fifty.

Shadab's 34 run cameo came to an end in the 13th over as he was a deceived by a slower delivery from Tickner. The breakthrough didn't trouble Pakistan as Mohammad Nawaz came in and played a few shots although he slowed down in the end. Trent Boult gave some hope by dismissing Nawaz for 16 off 19 balls in the 17th over but Haider Ali and Babar made sure there were no more hiccups. Pakistan went onto win the game with 10 balls to spare as Babar crunched a sweet boundary off Ish Sodhi!
18.2 I Sodhi to B Azam
4 FOUR!! It's all over! Tossed up delivery wide outside the off stump. Babar leans forward on the front foot and launches this over the covers! One bounce and over the fence. Pakistan win by 6 wickets with 10 balls to spare! Skipper Babar Azam plays the captain's knock with an unbeaten 79 off 53 balls.
18.1 I Sodhi to B Azam

4 FOUR!! Follows the six with a boundary! Pakistan are now one hit away from win. Fuller delivery outside off, bangs it over extra cover boundary for four! One bounce and the ball crashes in the fence!
Karthik: JEEZ! What a shot off the first delivery. Just shows the kind of talent Haider Ali possesses!
17.5 B Tickner to H Ali
6 SIX!!! Massive way to start your innings! Six first ball! Gets a bumper on the stumps, widens his stance and hooks this over backward square for a 97 metre long six!!
17.4 B Tickner to B Azam
0+1 Length delivery on the fourth stump line. Dabs to backward point. Haider looks for a single and is at the halfway mark of the pitch. Shy at the bowling end but long on takes some time to get to the ball. Overthrow!
17.3 B Tickner to B Azam
4 FOUR MORE!! This time through the off side. Fuller delivery outside the off stump, gets on the front foot and smashes this through extra cover for another boundary.
17.2 B Tickner to B Azam
4 FOUR!! 130.8kph, good length outside the off stump. Stand and deliver from the Pakistan skipper! Gets on top of the bounce and drags it from outside off to pull towards the vacant deep midwicket fence! Brilliantly executed, gets his reward.
17.1 B Tickner to B Azam
2 Over the stumps. Good length on the stumps. Easily worked away down to long leg for a couple of runs.
