The series has ended at 1-1! Both the captains pose with the cup, with Karunaratne looking slightly happier of the two. Pakistan will be going to the Netherlands for an ODI series. That's it from us today, I am Ovaise Shariff signing off on behalf of my co-commentators Ayan Chatterjee and Ajay Ahire alongside scorer/analyst Dushyant!! Join us for all action from other games across the globe. Until then, It's goodbye! Stay Safe!
Dimuth Karunaratne, Sri Lankan Skipper: "My back is painful, will get an MRI tomorrow, let's see what it comes about. Someone had to put their hands up. Chandi and Mathews batted well. It was important for me to get the partnership with Silva and Chandimal and glad that we could do that. I think we as a team are playing well. In patches, we have done badly, but as a whole, we have done well. I think the comebacks from us in this home series against Australia and Sri Lanka has been amazing.

I played with Prabath in the NSL series, and I saw the potential in him and wanted him on the side I am glad he did well under the pressure.

About Angelo what can I say? Playing 100 Tests is no mean feet starting as an all-rounder he has been my guide buddy and all my problems have been solved by him. Angelo has always been a guide and a mentor to me. I wish him many more successes in the future."
Babar Azam(Pakistan Skipper): "Definitely a tough game for us. Batting was not up to the mark for us and Jayasuriya bowled really so credit goes to him and their bowlers. Dhananjaya's and Dimuth's innings took the game away from us. We played well in the first match and we got lots of positives from the series."
Prabath Jayasuriya, Player of the Series: "I have worked hard and was patient to get the rewards. The surface was not easy, but we stuck to the basics and bowling in partnerships and got the reward in the end. It was not turning square. I waited for my time and got loads of support from family, and friends and they motivated me to do well in Tests. Great to live the dream. "
Dhananjaya de Silva(Player of the Match): "I got the hundred after 17 innings and was really happy with the effort. The boys supported me really well. I was in good touch but failed to get the big runs but got the runs in this game. It's a good challenge for me to bat in difficult situations. Captaincy is a good challenge and it also requires hard work."
Time for the post-match presentation ceremony.
Ovaise: Sri Lanka has won the match by 246 runs and levelled the series 1-1! It's Angelo Mathews's 100th game and what a fitting way to end the series! Pakistan batting was very poor today, there was no intent to fight it out, the lower middle order came and went in trying to slog everything out of the park.

Pakistan started Day 5 at 89-1 with Imam-ul-Haq and skipper Babar Azam walking out to bat! Sri Lanka broke through early dismissing Imam-ul-Haq. Skipper Babar Azam looked solid out in the middle and was joined by Mohammad Rizwan, together the pair put up a solid partnership and at this point, it looked like the game was going to end in a draw. The partnership between Babar and Rizwan was worth 79 before the Pakistan keeper was dismissed by Prabath Jayasuriya for 37 off 69 balls.

Fawad Alam looked very uncomfortable in the middle and a mix-up with Babar resulted in a runout!! Salman Ali Agha walked in and was dismissed at the stroke of Lunch by Prabath Jayasuriya. Pakistan's skipper was determined to draw the test but he was battling it alone without much support from the other end.

Post lunch, the pitch had deteriorated further and there was a lot of ball spinning and bouncing making it very difficult for the batter out in the middle, Mohammad Nawaz and Babar were watchful in the beginning but soon started chipping away with runs!! In the 66th over, Jayasuriya managed to trap the big fish for 81of 146! Babar was disappointed and made the slow walk back to the dressing room. From this point, Pakistan lost the plot, all the batters who came were swinging at everything wildly! Ramesh Mendis was reintroduced into the attack and along with Jayasuriya cleaned up the tail which didn't show any kind of resistance.

Prabath Jayasuriya was the pick of the bowlers finishing with 5 wickets, He was ably supported by Ramesh Mendis who scalped 4 wickets and the rest of the bowlers went wicketless as they hardly bowled any overs!! Sri Lanka will be delighted with the victory and will look to carry on this momentum in the next series as well, Dimuth Karunaratne battled it out with an injury and played an important knock which took the game away from the visitors!! A commendable team effort by Sri Lanka. Pakistan on the other hand will look to take out the positives from this game and come back stronger in their next encounter.

W WICKET!!!! That's it that's the game for the home side. Naseem couldn't resist himself going for a big one and ended up hitting that one straight into the hands of the fielder in the deep. Mendis bowls that one on a fuller length on the off-stump line. It was in the slot and Naseem goes for the big heave but it got the height not the distance. Wellalage down there at deep midwicket settles underneath that one and takes the catch. Naseem's cameo of 18 runs comes to an end here. The series ends in 1 all here at Galle. Sri Lanka beat Pakistan by a huge margin of 246 runs.

0 Flatter on the off. Naseem defends it towards the short cover.
