WHAT A BUMMER! We had ourselves an absolute rousing game before the rain took command. Ruby Trichy Warriors, however, would not mind that; they must be jubilant after this win.
They came into this tournament with a big victory over Dindigul Dragons, and since then, the Warriors lost four games on the trot. It was a prejudiced encounter that benefitted the spinsters more. The skipper Rahil Shah made the most out of the surface with the figures of 3/13.
The debutant Atheeq Ur Rahman also accompanied him with the figures of 2/9 in his quota of three overs. A monumental bowling display from the Warriors for just 87 in the first innings.
Post that, there was a little job that needed to be done by the Warriors' batters, and even though, they lost a couple of wickets, the Warriors always looked favorites to win the contest.
With this victory, they escalate a little in terms of NRR, but qualification still appears near impossible for the warriors.
