Deepak: That's the end of the 20th TNPL match where LKK defeated ITT by 9 wickets and chased down 158 runs in just 15.2 overs.
Lyca Kovai Kings came out to chase down 158 runs. Ganga Sridhar Raju (5 of 7) and J Suresh Kumar came out to open the inning for the Kings. But didn’t start the innings they wanted as Raju gave his wicket to Sathiyannaarayan in the second over and kings were 7 for 1 in 1.4 overs. Sai Sudharshan joined Suresh Kumar at no.3 and Suresh Kumar started destroying the bowlers with his magnificent shots. And they built a 50 runs partnership of just 27 balls and took their team to 57 runs in the powerplay. Sai Sudarshan and Suresh Kumar batted till the end and destroyed every bowler and sealed the match for their team, they built an unbeaten 151 runs partnership for the 2nd wicket. Sai Sudarshan scored 68 runs off 41 balls and Suresh Kumar scored 83 of 44 balls.
On the other hand, L Sathiyannaarayan was the only bowler for ITT to pick up a wicket. He gave away 36 runs in 3 overs and picked 1 wicket.
