The Player of the Match is Balchander Anirudh - According to me we started off on a high note. However, we had lost some early wickets but my role was clear and only followed the same. I tried to remain in the middle for as long as I can and tried to keep the scoreboard ticking.
Kaushik Gandhi, CSG Captain: We tried our best with both the bowl and bat, but I think we went around 20-30 runs short. We faced a collapse earlier in the innings due to our best shot selection, but we will keep that thing in mind and try to improve on that in our forthcoming games. We had a long week break now till our next game and we will work on our game plans and will be back stronger again as a unit.

SMP won the toss and decide to bowl, which was seen going in his favor throughout the match. When Panther's opener came out to chase a modest target of 136. Both the openers hit some good shots but on just 24 runs Madurai got the first blow in the form of Aaditya. After that dismissal, Anirudh joined Karthik in the middle, they both started with all guns blazing and scored at a blistering pace. Karthik fell short Alexander as he got out after a quick-fire cameo of 31 while Anirudh continued and managed to score 52 runs. Together they put up an important partnership of 50 runs for the 2nd wicket and brought the match to a good turn. Panthers skipper and Kousik returned to the pavilion on a golden duck without moving the scoreboard where it seemed that the match could change course from here. Rajkumar played a cameo inning, scoring 19 for his team to lift the team from the pressure. In the end, the rest of the work was done by Anirudh and Sandhu, both of them played an unbeaten knock of 58* off 41 and 14* off 11, and the Panthers won the match by 4 wickets.
