So that's it from our end. Hope you have enjoyed all the action here at our network and now you can switch the tabs on our network as plenty of cricketing action is going on from around the globe. For now, this is me Ajay Ahire signing it off along with my co-commentator Shashank Surly with our scorer Chandan Singh. Until then stay safe and stay cool...
Mitchell Santner (Winning Captain): "Boys did a great job to take the score around 150, we thought it was a par score on this wicket, we were happy to take anything around 130-140  one stage. Sodhi and Neesham played great innings towards the end and our bowlers stood up to the challenge really well.
Scott Edwards (Losing Captain): "Bowlers did a tremendous job for us, we were really in the game at the halfway mark, Bassie (Bas de Leede) played an excellent inning towards the end, can't blame our bowlers for today's result will go back and try to make better plans for tomorrow."
That's it that's the game for the Kiwis as they beat the Dutch by 16 runs and take a lead of 1-0 in this 2-match series. It was an impressive performance by the Kiwis with the ball as they defended the below-par score of 149. Tickner was the pick of the bowlers as he ended up with figures of 4 for 27.

Chasing 149 on a sluggish track the Netherlands side didn't get off to a start that would have been hoped for, Both the openers were back in the hut in no time as Stephan and Max were sent back by Tickner who ran through the Dutch top order with his sheer pace. Bas de Leede who came out to bat at number 3 player sensibly throughout his stay and kept the one end untouched. But on the other end, the things remained the same as Cooper who came out at number 4 ended up edging that one to the keeper.

The skipper Scott Edwards looked solid for his 20 runs but his opposite number Santner picked up his wicket. Teja Nidamanuru went back without troubling the scorers. Van Beek failed to read the wrong'un from Sodhi and found his timber uprooted. Sears in the end picked up a couple of wickets. Tickner took the last wicket of Bas de Leede who played really for his 66 but couldn't take his side past the winning line.

With the bat, The Kiwis struggles a lot early in the start as the ball was stopping onto the batters and the shot-making was difficult. But thanks to some brilliant cameos from Neesham and Ish Sodhi they went on to post 148 board and their bowlers did their absolute best to defend that total.
19.3 B Tickner to Leede
W WICKETT!! ITS ALL OVER!!! Agony for the Dutch players and supporters but joy in the Kiwi camp. Tickner is the man to finish of things who started off the demolition with the new ball, does the job in the end. Hits the full length delivery at the middle and off stump line, Leede had to go for a big hit and tries to swat it down town, doesn't find the purest of connections and Mitchell runs a few yard in and settles down at long on and holds onto a easy catch. New Zealand take the victory by 16 runs.
19.2 B Tickner to Leede
2 Back of alength delivery wide of off, Leede drags it down towards dep midwicket region and gets back for a couple of runs.
Ajay: Good start to the last over for the home side. 19 more runs are needed now from the last 5 balls...Can Leede pull out an incredible chase here?
19.1 B Tickner to Leede
4 FOURR!! Just the perfect start the men in Orange needed. Poor from Tickner, full and straight, in the batters arc, Leede makes room down the leg and slams it through the diving extra cover fielder and the ball hits the ropes in a flash.

18.6 L Ferguson to Leede
1 Ferguson finishes his spell, a back of a length delivery at the batters body, Leede stays deep and dabs it towards covers and gets through for a single to keep the strike for the last over.
18.5 L Ferguson to C Floyd
1 Length ball at the pads, Floyd flicks it down towards deep midwicket and gets Leede o0n strike.
18.4 L Ferguson to Leede
1 Low full-toss at middle and off, leede knocks it towards deep extra cover for a run.
Ajay: Leede is playing a lone hand here...
18.3 L Ferguson to Leede
4 FOURR!! Leede keeping the hosts alive, short and around the off stump line, Leede pulls it hard but gets a top edge and the ball flies over the head of short third man and a few bounces into the third man boundary.
18.2 L Ferguson to Leede
0 Back of a length ball around top of off, blocked up the pitch by Leede.
