That brings us to the end of a Super Sunday. Till the next time, it's goodnight and goodbye from me (Arya Sekhar Chakraborty), my fellow commentators Ayan Chatterjee and Akshaya Krishna Polya along with our scorer/analyst Paras Yadav.
Devon Conway, Man of the Match- The thought process was just about keeping it simple. It was just about communicating with Ruturaj. WIth Hussey, I just discussed about how the surface would be and who the bowlers would be to target. I am just happy to build that partnership up with Rutu, and the way he's playing, he makes my job easier. I have to be true to myself, authentic to myself. I look to play cricket shots and just assess where to put my foot down. I have to give credit to MS, because I got out trying to play the sweep in the last game, and he told me to look to play straight.
MS Dhoni, CSK skipper- It really helps. It would have been better if we would have had a win like this somewhere early. It was a perfect game. The batters did really well. It was a toss where we wanted to win and field first, but in the heart, I was fine to lose the toss. The ball stops and comes, and it behaves only after 13-14 overs. Everybody contributed a bit. Runs on the board really help, and it was important to restrict their big-hitters. Both Simarjeet and Mukesh have taken time to mature. They have the capability, the more they play, the better they'll get at game sense. It is ultimately about reading which is a good delivery to bowl and which is a delivery to not bowl. In T20 cricket, it is all about knowing which delivery not to bowl. I don't like going in and hitting it straightaway. But with only 12 deliveries left, if a few of us contribute with scores of 8 off 2, it helps. But scoring just 2 or 3 runs doesn't help. I am not a big fan of maths. Even in school I wasn't good at it. Thinking of the NRR doesn't help. You just want to enjoy the IPL. When two other teams are playing, you don't want to be under pressure and thinking. You just have to think about what to do in the next game. If we make the playoffs, great. But even if we don't it's not the end of the world.

Arya- Delhi Capitals was always playing a catch-up game after conceding 208 runs in the first innings. However, they had some exceptional power-hitters in the game who had the ability to take the game away from the Yellow brigade. They needed a very good start and the initial bit was provided by Srikar Bharat and his opening partner David Warner. However, after that brisk start, DC lost Bharat in the 3rd over which didn’t help in the powerplay stages.

The game turned upside down when the man in form David Warner was adjudged LBW of the bowling of Maheesh Theekshana. He went for the reverse sweep but couldn’t quite make any contact. It was a close call but Warner had to depart s the onfield decision was out. From there on, skipper Rishabh Pant and Mitchell Marsh started to counter-attack and took the CSK bowlers on.

Theekshana was smashed for three consecutive fours by Rishabh Pant and it was then consolidated by Mitchell Marsh who also struck some delightful strokes. Mitchell Marsh was dismissed by Moeen Ali and the offie followed it up with the wicket of Rishabh Pant, a wicket from which DC could never recover. They kept sliding down the barrel as wickets kept tumbling at regular intervals.

CSK bowlers were aware to the situation and never allowed DC to get anywhere close to the target. The final nail in the coffin was the wicket of Rovman Powell when he outside edged one back of a length delivery from Mukesh Choudhary straight to MS Dhoni. Shardul Thakur did strike some good blows towards the end but he knew very well that it was for a lost cause.

Rishabh Pant | Delhi Capitals Skipper: "I think they out played us in all the departments. I think they were superior than us today. As a Delhi Capitals' player I know that if we win all the next three games we are through to the playoffs. I thought that this day will come, that game will come where we will have something like tonight. We have some Covid issue in our camp and some injuries to deal with. We will discuss everything in the meeting and will rectify it. We need to play well and do well in many departments of the game and I hope that we will comeback with a bang in the games remaining."
Moeen Ali: "A win is a win. To win against a quality side is a great feeling. It was a good score. I felt we could have gotten to 210. But this was a good score with spinners in the game. Probably a little less, but still it was a good total. Sometimes you try to get more and lose more wickets in the process. So, it's a good effort from us. I am trying to spin it and get more out of these tired pitches. Our fan base is huge and unbelievable. I didn't know what was the fan base when I first joined this franchise, but now I know it. It's an honor and pleasure to play for CSK and hope to continue the good work."
Arya- An emphatic victory for the Chennai Super Kings as they romp past Delhi Capitals by 91 runs to still keep their slimmest hopes alive in the tournament. With four wins in 11 games, they still stand an outside chance of qualifying through to the playoffs. It was a dominating bowling performance by CSK and the DC batting line-up had literally no answers in front of their mastery. They were much more superior than DC and hence the result.
17.4 D Bravo to K Ahmed
W An exceptional slower delivery to end the innings. That dipped on Khaleel Ahmed and he had no idea whatsoever. This is what he is so good at in the death overs. A very well-disguised slower delivery which dips like the Bravo way and clatters onto the stumps. Khaleel Ahmed is made to look like a fool here.

17.3 D Bravo to S Thakur
W CSK needed that wicket just to better their net run-rate. Unlucky dismissal, a strangle down the leg side and Shardul Thakur has to depart. Normal paced delivery on the pads. Shardul Thakur only needed to get something substantial to get that wide of the keeper. Plays it very fine of the face of the bat and MSD hardly makes a mistake behind the stumps.
17.2 D Bravo to S Thakur
4 Back to back boundaries for Shardul Thakur. A slower back of a length delivery outside off. Shardul Thakur waits for it and lifts this well over the cover fielder, in the gap and off to the boundary ropes.
17.1 D Bravo to S Thakur
4 That is beautifully played by Shardul Thakur. He is a beautiful striker of the ball. Short of a length delivery around the off and middle stump channel. Shardul uses his deft touch and places it away down the deep point region for a boundary.
