Milestone
That brings us to the end of our coverage for tonight. Till the nest time, it's good bye and goodnight from me (Arya Sekhar Chakraborty), my fellow commentators Akshay Bhide and Ninaad Dixit along with our scorer Paras Yadav.
David Warner: "It is a pretty nice wicket. I had some success here and applied my strokes and found the gaps. Its challenging here with the humidity in Mumbai but having Rovman at the other end playing with serious power. It was good having him at the other end. At the backend I was trying to run fast but Powell he has got some serious power and was hitting it really well. I though he was gonna bowl a yorker a wide one and I had seen Jos Buttler recently so I tried to reverse it. But I just tried to cut on that occasion and it came off. I said to him I don't care if I run out, the team needs a big total and you should go for the hits no matter the hundred."
Rishabh Pant: "There is always room for improvement but this was close to perfect match for us as a batting unit. I was calm myself because in this kind of chase the team needs 10-12 runs per over so I was trying to take the game deep and was asking the players to keep calm. The way Warner paced his inning is one of the best knock I have seen over a period of time for Delhi so congratulations to him. I don't mind having one or two conversations because Powell wasn't scoring heavily earlier in the tournament but he is in a good nick now. I was batting fine, but at the end of the day I can't prepare for something like that, the full toss. It's all a part and parcel of the game."
Anrich Nortje: "Just a relief to be out on the field. Feeling really nice to be playing again. Yeah, it’s obviously hard. You have to be realistic and just keep the patience. Just getting the basics right and getting back in rhythm. I try to recollect the good things I have done in the past and stay patient. Everyone’s been bowling really well. It’s hard to protect the short side of the boundary but the guys did a fine job tonight. You just have to be clear and focus on committing whatever you have decided."

Kane Williamson | Sunrisers Skipper: 'They had a fantastic total at the halfway stage. As a batting unit, you’ve got to have a belief and we had a lot of it. The dew came in but we failed to chase it down. We were put under pressure while bowling and an outstanding partnership between Warner and Powell helped them. It is a great opportunity for everyone. Umran is a fantastic find and he will learn from his mistakes. As a group, it is a learning curve. We still have a few games played and will be looking to bounce back. The way Pooran and Markram come in and strike the ball is amazing. We are coming closer to the totals but I guess we have to restrict the opposition to lower totals. I’m working hard and trying to play the role that the team requires. It’s important to make contributions and be patient."

David Warner is the player of the match!

Sunrisers Hyderabad needed a brisk start to harbour hopes of chasing down a very stiff target but that wasn’t to be. Man in form Abhishek Sharma had to depart early as Khaleel Ahmed accounted him with a great delivery. Skipper Kane Williamson was also dismissed within the powerplay as SRH was reduced to 24/2 in the 5th over. The likes of Aiden Markram and Nicholas Pooran needed to steady the ship but had to ensure that the required rate didn’t go beyond manageable limits.

Rahul Tripathi looked in good touch and struck a couple of boundaries before perishing to Mitchell Marsh as he was holed out at the deep backward square leg region. With the score reading 37/3 in seven overs, SRH needed something magical from the likes of Pooran and Aiden Markram to get them back into the game. They shared a 60 runs stand in quick time but the required rate had crept up so much in the powerplay, SRH had to play catch all through the run-chase.

Khaleel Ahmed again provide the much-needed breakthrough when he induced a false shot from Aiden Makram and was eventually holed out at covers. Shashank Singh joined Nicholas Pooran in the middle who was going great guns at the other end. Pooran kept SRH in the game with some lusty power-hittinh as none of the DC bowlers could contain him. His incredible knock ignited the hopes of a come from behind victory but that wasn't to be in the end.

Pooran kept plundering boundaries and sixes at will. He batted brilliantly and was eventually dismissed on 62 of 34 deliveries, an innings which included 2 fours and 6 sixes. He was dismissed in the penultimate over. Shashank Singh played some good shots but eventually, the target was way too much in the end. Kartik Tyagi also struck a boundary but the target, in the end, was way too much as DC prevailed by 21 runs.

Arya- A convincing victory for the Delhi Capitals in the end by 21 runs. They have now five wins from ten encounters and are looking good. Despite a valiant effort from Nicholas Pooran, it was the Capitals who prevailed in the 50th match of the competition.

19.5 K Yadav to S Gopal
0 Shreyas Gopal goes for the reverse sweep to a fuller one a shade outside off but doesn't make any contact.
19.4 K Yadav to B Kumar
1 Bhuvneshwar Kumar couldn't quite time that to perfection. LIfts this from the cue end of the bat down the ground and it falls well short of the long-on fielder.
19.3 K Yadav to B Kumar
4 Bhuvneshwar Kumar picks up a boundary. Slightly short of a length on the leg stumps and that has been pulled away down the vacant deep backward square leg region and finds the boundary. Doesn't really matter though.
19.2 K Yadav to B Kumar
0 A flatter trajectory googly outside off. Bhuvneshwar Kumar tries to force this away down the off side but doesn't make contact.

19.1 K Yadav to K Tyagi
W Kuldeep Yadav gets his man. Kartik Tyagi comes down the track and misses that completely. Nicely bowled by Kuldeep Yadav. Bowls it flatter seeing Kartik Tyagi step down the track. Couldn't quite get that away down the leg side. Misses and gets cleaned up.
SRH require 27 runs from the last over.
