That's all from our coverage for match 43. Gujarat Titans are on the top of the table and have made their position stronger with 16 points to their name. Ninaad Dixit here sigining off on behalf of Ovaise Shariff and our scorer Paras Yadav. I hope you enjoyed our coverage. Stay tuned for more cricket coverage from across the globe.
Faf du Plessis: "We tried to get to 175-180 but they bowled pretty well in the middle overs and kept us down. We started well with the ball but they played under pressure really well as they have been doing this whole tournament. Patidar played really well and looked confident. After two bad performances with the bat, coming back was good. Credit goes to the Gujarat batters as they took the game away from us. There was big side on one side, and there was one over where most balls went to the leg side. It was a huge step in the right direction by Virat to get a solid 50. You want one of your top 4 to get the 70s in the future, so it's good."
Rahul Tewatia is the player of the match.
Rahul Tewatia!!! What a man, what a finisher! An excellent unbeaten 43 off 25 deliveries propels the Gujarat Titans to win their seventh game as they reach on the top of the table yet again!

Faf du Plessis won the toss and opted to bat first, only the second captain to do so in the 42 games that have been played earlier. RCB got off to a poor start losing their skipper early on and but It was Virat's turn today to play the anchor's role to a formidable score, he stepped up and delivered, the going was slow by him but he made sure RCB have a good platform to launch from. As the ball got older, the off-pace deliveries on a hard length did get tougher to score off. It was young Patidar who created the impetus with an aggressive knock, and then cameos from Maxwell and Lomror pushed the score to 170.  They would have loved to get another 10-15 runs on this track and at the halfway point Gujarat was fancying their chances of chasing it down.

The Titans got a good start thanks to Wriddhiman Saha (29 off 22) and Shubman Gill (31 off 28) at the top of the order as the duo added 51 runs for the first wicket. Sai Sudharsan came in at number 3 and played a good hand scoring 20 off 14 deliveries. Hardik Pandya joined him but failed as Shahbaz Ahmed picked up two quick wickets to keep the Titans reeling behind on 95-4.

David Miller (39* off 24) and Tewatia then put on a good finishing show as they started slowly and then changed gears to accelerate to add 69 unbeaten runs to defeat RCB by six wickets. Wanindu Hasaranga bowled a good spell of 2-28 but the other bowlers looked out of colour and went wicketless barring Shahbaz.
19.3 J Hazlewood to R Tewatia
4 Rahul Tewatia, the man deserve 20 crores in the next IPL auction the way he has playing, OH MAN!! He finishes the match in style, pumps it away on the off-side and drops his bat!!! The ICE MAN has done it again, He is the Most Valuable Player of the season so far.
19.2 J Hazlewood to D Miller
1 Length delivery, Miller nudges it for a single to rotate strike. It's fitting that Tewatia gets the winnings runs..
19.1 J Hazlewood to D Miller
4 FOURRR!! Clinical finishing by GT!! Just two more are needed now!! Was a full-length delivery, on the leg stump and Miller flicks it powerfully wide of the long-on fielder and the ball rockers away towards the boundary line, No chance for the fielder in the deep.
19.1 J Hazlewood to D Miller
WD Slower off cutter outside off stump, was way outside off stump and Miller tries to drive it but gets beaten as it was very wide.
