Milestone
That's the end of our coverage. This is me, AryaSekhar Chakraborty, signing off on behalf of my co-commentators Akshay Bhide and Karthik Raj. Tata. Bye Bye.
Marco Jansen | Man of the Match: Tried to keep it as simple as possible. After the first ball, thought the ball was going to swing. Personally, I enjoyed the third wicket (Anuj Rawat). The best I have bowled with the white ball
Kane Williamson | SRH Skipper: It was one of those days. The guys bowled brilliantly and we held onto our chances. It's a long tournament and going back to the plans and looking forward to the next challenge. There is a lot of strike power in our attack. There is more swing than the previous seasons and we look to pick wickets in the powerplay. Off the field, Marco is up for a laugh. But on the field, he is clear with his plans. With the grass on the surface, he is a threat to the other teams. The run rate was always on the back of our minds. Not a lot of chat in the middle, playing with Abhishek. Was good to see him playing his strokes and happy to get across the line.

Abhishek Sharma: Feeling really good about contributing to my team's success. I was enjoying my shots. I wanted to open from earlier and when they decided to give me this slot I was very excited. I guess it's working really well for us. We are taking with each other every ball (his discussions with Williamson in the middle). Discussing how the next ball gonna play. I am learning my best from Brian Lara. Everyone knows what he did for his country in the world of cricket. It's great to be around him.
Faf du Plessis | RCB skipper: Yeah the first four overs. Not losing four five wickets upfront was important. It was spicy up front but you still have to find ways to fight it out and once you are through it it gets easier. I expected a little bit. It looked the best out of every wickets but we didn't access it properly. No excuses for the performance. The way Marco Jansen bowled in the first over, swinging it both ways were brilliant getting those big wickets. A day like today is not great. You want to make sure that you don't get too emotional. You keep your chin up and in a day or two when we play these guys again, there is a bit of learning to take away from that.

Arya- Earlier in the day, it was SRH skipper Kane Williamson who won the toss and put RCB in. Bhuvneshwar Kumar started off with the new ball. Five runs came of the opening over but what transpired in the next over of Marco Jansen left everyone in awe of his skills. He castled his countryman Faf du Plessis with a pearler. It pitched on a length and left du Plessis just enough to beat his outside edge and the off-stumps were clattered.

Virat Kohli came out with a positive intent but bagged a successive golden duck. It was just his mindset which made him poke at a fuller-length delivery a shade outside off which angled away a tad. He poked at that with hard hands and ended up giving an easy catch to the second slip fielder. Anuj Rawat was the next man to go in the final delivery of the 2nd over as RCB were reduced to 8/3. From there on, it was always going to be a catch-up work for RCB.

They went further down the barrel when they lost the prized wicket of Glenn Maxwell to T Natarajan. Skipper Kane Williamson dived in front and took a brilliant catch at mid-off. Shahbaz Ahmed and Suyeh Prabhudessai then shared a 27 runs partnership which was by far the highest partnership of their innings. The wicket of Prabhudessai again started the slide. Inform Dinesh Karthik was also dismissed on nought as he gloved a delivery angling down the leg side.

Hasaranga tried to steal some runs here and there but it was for a lost cause. Harshal Patel was then castled by Natarajan as he came back for his final spell. He then castled Hasaranga with a full-pitched delivery while Bhuvneshwar Kumar bagged the last wicket of Mohammed Siraj to bowl out RCB for just 68 runs, the 6th lowest total in the history of IPL.

Arya- A target of 69 runs was never going to trouble the SRH batters. Opening duo of Abhishek Sharma and Kane Williamson shared a 64 runs opening stand to ensure that there were no hiccups during the run-chase. Kane Williamson was a mere spectator at the other end as Abhishek Sharma who has grown in confidence all through the tournament kept smashing the RCB opening bowlers all around the park.

Some of the shots oozed class and he proved that there were no demons in the pitch whatsoever. He batted sensibly and not only played the big shots but also manoeuvred the field to perfection. He kept tonking the balls all around the park during a blazing knock of 47 before he was dismissed by Harshal Patel with SRH just five runs away from the victory target. Kane Williamson also played some delightful shots and SRH eventually reached the target with 12 overs to spare.

7.6 H Patel to R Tripathi
6 SIXXX!!! Rahul Tripathi finishes it off in style. Harshal bowls it full on the pads, Tripathi gets underneath it and whips it over backward square leg fence for a biggie. With this, the Sunrisers Hyderabad beat Royal Challengers Bangalore by nine wickets with 72 balls to spare and it helps them boost their net run rate.
7.5 H Patel to K Williamson
1 Back of a length delivery in the channel outside off, Williamson guides it to third man and rotates the strike.
7.4 H Patel to R Tripathi
1 A slower delivery on the fuller side outside off, Tripathi guides it to third man for a single. He wanted the second but is sent back by his skipper.
