That brings us to the end of a double header Sunday. Four great games through the weekend. We will be back tomorrow with the clash between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Gujarat Titans. Till the next time, it's adios from me (Arya Sekhar Chakraborty), my fellow commentator Anirudh Modi and analyst Paras Yadav.
Yuzvendra Chahal: "The T20 World Cup was a bad patch, but I backed myself and used my strength which is my mind and kept working hard. Today it was a little difficult but it is my duty to bowl well whenever I ball. My favorite wicket today was de Kock because of how crucial it was. I was trying to toss it up wide and with Badoni too I had an intuition that he will step out of his crease and that's why I delivered that ball. I don't think much about achievements, it creates pressure for the next match. I am aiming to improve on this opportunity."
Yuzvendra Chahal is the Man of the Match. He is also the new Purple Cap Holder.
Sanju Samson: "I didn't know we were top of the table, only concerned about this game, happy that we won it. On Kuldeep Sen, it depends upon how he bowled his first 3 overs, I got the intuition that he is confident enough to do it. I saw him first in SMAT and he was nailing those wide Yorkers, he could be a big player for India. Trent Boult is a rockstar, he came to me after the first trail ball and said I'm going to go around the wicket, he is a great cricketer. Conversations with Hetmyer include, are you happy? have you slept well? That's it, he is a great reader of the situations and is performing for us. On using Yuzi late, Chahal is someone who can be given the ball in any situation, he is the greatest leg spinner that India has seen presently, he is a great match winner. His and Ashwin's are very crucial for us."

Time for the post match presentation.
Arya: Rajasthan Royals needed early wickets to stem the run-flow of the Lucknow Supergiants and buoy what a first over it was from Trent Boult. He was at his immaculate best and started off with a thunder bult, castling KL Rahul through the gate. It was a sensational delivery to say the least. It swung in the air and then came back sharply after pitching and Rahul was in no man’s land there. Had no clue whatsoever and the stumps went for a toss.

The next delivery was wide but that was kept brilliantly by Sanju Samson as he flung to his left and stopped a certain wide four. The next delivery was again on the mark and this time Krishnappa Gowtham had no idea whatsoever. Again it tailed back in and struck Gowtham plumb in front. It was one of the greatest first overs in the history of IPL.

Two early wickets set the tone for the Rajasthan Royals. Jason Holder was sent up the order but the ploy didn’t work as he was dismissed by a well-directed short delivery from Prasidh Krishna. Deepak Hooda then steadied the ship along with Quinton de Kock for a bit with both playing some lovely shots. It was debutant Kuldeep Sen who got rid off Hooda as he went for a slog down the leg side and ended up losing his stumps.

Ayush Badoni who has been the go-to man for the Lucknow Super Giants this season was bamboozled by Yuzvendra Chahal as he ended up hitting one wide leg break from Chahal straight down the throat of the long-off fielder Riyan Parag. Krunal Pandya then came in and played some good innovative shots to get the scoreboard moving but the required rate was climbing steadily.

The decision to hold Chahal back worked for the Royals as he bagged the wicket of Quinton de Kock in the 16th over he ended up dragging one outside off down the throat of the deep midwicket fielder Riyan Parag. The going got tougher and tougher as Chahal also got rid of Quinton de Kock and Krunal Pandya in quick succession to put them under immense pressure. A first ball six of Avesh Khan kept LSG in the game going into the final two overs.

Stoinis took Prasidh Krishna to the cleaners in the penultimate over and punished him for 19 runs to get the equation down to 15 required of the final over. Stoinis made brilliant connections on most occasions and Prasidh couldn't quite hold his nerves. However debutant Kuldeep Sen did hold his nerves in the final over and bowled three successive dot deliveries to seal the deal for his team. He conceded a four and a six of the final two deliveries but it didn't matter as he had already won them the game in the first four deliveries.

Trent Boult- Around the wicket to KL Rahul) It was a late call in the morning. It was Neesham's idea. Rahul is a great player, but nice for a plan like that to come off.  It is my role with the new ball to be aggressive and take wickets in the powerplay so it was a good feeling to get a couple. (Came over the wicket later) You guys have seen me bowl enough. At the top it is to pitch it up and get some movement. (Kuldeep Sen) He is a great guy, bowls with heart. Executed under pressure and will only grow from an experience like that. There are some quality fast bowling assets in our side and throughout the tournament. (Are you going to watch the over again?) I will probably watch my batting first.
KL Rahul, LSG skipper- I didn't see that delivery. if I had seen that I would have put bat to ball. Just got a give it to him (Bult). That was a great ball. Look I think we have a kind of a team who are never out of the contest. We have brilliant players. We bat deep. When we were 20/3 we believed we could make a match out of it. We had got ourselves on this situation before and have managed to bail out of that but today we didn't get a partnership It was great from Stoinis in the end who gave us a chance in the end. These games gives us confidence and reminds us that we are a bloody good team and if we play well we can do great things. Yes it was always the plan. We know how dangerous Stoinis can be at the back end. We will try to be a bit unpredictable at time.s We shuffle the batting order a bit. We send in KG today, These targets like 150 160 can be tricky. We thought Gowtham could put the bowlers under the pump but unfortunately it didn't work. We are a team we will take the aggressive options. Well look I think we have done really well in the four games we have played. Our death bowling has stood out but today we couldn't execute the plans today. be it Shimron or Stoinis these guys can really do the damage at the back end and can put you under the pump if you miss your length. We learn from our mistakes and go back and work harder and execute under the pressure. One bad game won't change much. We will try to learn and take a lot of positives from that.
Arya: What a sensational over from the youngster Kuldeep Sen. He did concede a four and a six in the last two deliveries but he had already sealed the match before that with three back to back dot deliveries. Stoinis tried hard but couldn't quite put bat to ball in those three deliveries. Eventually, he remained unbeaten on 38 of 17 deliveries with Rajasthan Royals winnings by 3 runs.

19.6 K Sen to M Stoinis
6 Stoinis tonks this away for a maximum but it doesn't matter as Kuldeep Sen has bowled a magnificent over here. Was in the slot on the stumps, Stoinis shuffles across ever so slightly going deep into the crease and clobbers this well over the deep midwicket fence.
19.5 K Sen to M Stoinis
4 That has flown over the short third man fielder for a boundary but Kuldeep Sen has done enough here. He has kept his nerves in a very difficult situation. Was again a full one outside off. Stoinis swings through the line and ends up getting an outside edge which flies over short third man for a boundary.
