That brings us to the end of a Super Saturday. We have a double header again tomorrow. Do join us at 2:30 PM for the pre-match coverage with the first match kicking off from 3:30 PM. Till then it's goodbye and goodnight from me (Arya Sekhar Chakraborty), my fellow commentators Ajay Ahire and Karthik Raj.
Anuj Rawat (Man of the Match): Feels great to be scoring runs in a winning cause. To be honest, I was just following my process. I was not being able to connect in other games, today did it well. Hope for many more to come. RCB team has given us confidence but they have backed me even when I couldn't finish the game. Enjoying the company of Virat and Faf
Faf Du Plessis(Winning captain): "Feels really good. Mumbai is a strong team. Very happy standing up here. The new ball had something in it for the fast bowlers and then we did make a solid comeback in the middle overs. Rohit started off really well but thankfully we got him out after the powerplay. Akash Deep bowled really well today as he got the ball moving really well as he hold back the length really well. Anuj Rawat is a superb talent and he does have a great sense of the game I am having a lot of conversations with him recently."
Suryakumar Yadav wins the Ruppay on the Go 4s of the Match Award.
Mohammad Siraj wins the Swiggy Instamart Fastest delivery of the match award for clocking 145.4 kph.
Anuj Rawat wins the Upstox Most Valuable Asset of the Match Award.
Rohit Sharma wins the Cred Powerplayer of the Match Award for his score of 26 of 15 deliveries in the powerplay.
Suryakumar Yadav also wins the Unacademy Let's Crack it Sixes Award.
Suryakumar Yadav bags the Dream11 Game changer of the match award. He bagged 111 fantasy points for his heroics with the bat.
Suryakumar Yadav wins the Punch Super Striker of the Match Award for his knock of 68 of just 37 deliveries.
Time for the post-match presentation ceremony with Simon Doull.
Arya: The run-chase could have been a tricky one for the Royal Challengers Bangalore had they lost early wickets but it was Anuj Rawat and Faf du Plessis who played brilliantly upfront to blunt the run-chase. Rawat batted with freedom and played some exceptional shots. He looked very fluent during his exceptional knock. Du Plessis was dismissed by Jaydev Unadkat just when MI needed a wicket desperately.

Kohli joined Anuj Rawat and both played sensibly and struck the big shots whenever the scoring rate went up. A 80 runs partnership for the 2nd wicket set the platform for the run-chase. Rawat was still in the crease and played some exceptional shots while Kohli played the ball on it’s merit and made sure that the run-chase was easy peasy for them in the end.

Rawat was unfortunately run-out as Ramandeep Singh inflicted a sensational direct hit but by then, RCB was within touching distance of the target. Kohli was also dismissed in a controversial manner by Deval Brevis in the very first delivery of his IPL career. Kohli was livid with the decision as he felt there was a clear inside edge there.

There was a deviation but the 3rd umpire thought there was no conclusive evidence to overturn the onfield decision. Eventually, Maxwell slammed a couple of boundaries to finish the match off in style.

Wanindu Hasaranga- Definitely even more than team winning everyday. Nobody could pick my googly. I love to bowl googly more than leg break. Good batting side. We have lot of good talents. When I get a chance I will be ready to end.
Rohit Sharma- Its just the combination we felt will be ideal for certain oppositions. Unfortunately, some of the overseas guys were not available. We tried to use whatever resources we had. I got 26 of 15 balls but unfortunately got out at the wrong time. That is something which is hurting us a little bit. This is definitely not a 150 score. A lot of credit to Surya to get us to 150. We want some of our batters to bat as deep as possible. Ofcourse if you gets runs on the board the bowlers are always in the game. The last game we got 160 and today we got 150 but in pitches like that, these scores are not enoiygh. I have always spoken about collective performance and that is missing at the moment. Once that comes back we will be alright.
Arya: A sorry state of affairs for the Mumbai Indians as they lose their 4th straight match and it was not the best of Saturdays for the two most successful teams in the competition. In the afternoon, CSK registered their 4th loss and by the end of the night, MI has recorded their 4th defeat. A thoroughly professional run-chase led by Anuj Rawat wgo played a gem of a knock. Kohli also played well and in the end, RCB reached the target with 7 wickets in hand and 9 balls remaining.
18.3 D Brevis to G Maxwell
4 And that has sealed the game. Short of a length delivery outside off and it was meant to be hit. Maxwell goes deep into his crease and slams that away down the vacant deep extra cover region for a boundary. A convincing performance in the end from the Royal Challengers Bangalore.
18.2 D Brevis to G Maxwell
4 That was a dragged down from Brevis and Maxwell cashes in. Gets into position early. Becomes a left-hander and brings out the switch hit very first ball and gets brilliant connection. Up and over and it goes down the vacant deep point region for a boundary.
