That's it for today. Lucknow Giants will be pretty satisfied with their effort today and Sunrisers are still searching for their winning combination for this year. They will try to fix their batting order issues and do a couple of changes at the top too. Do join us tomorrow for the 'The Battle Royale' - RR vs RCB. Until then, this is Shubham signing off along with my co-commentators, Anirudh and Akshaya, our scorer Paras, and our statistician, Shreyas. Goodnight and take care!
Avesh Khan | Player of the Match: "The plan always was how I can pick up more wickets in the power play and in the slog overs. I wanted to bowl the slower ball (Williamson dismissal) because we felt that the ball was gripping and holding on to the surface. The plan is always to bowl dots and hit those yorker lengths. I always get a lot of support from the captain and support staff and want to bowl with the same rhythm."
KL Rahul | LSG Captain: "It's been pleasing that we have always found a way to stay in the game in the last 3 games. Not ideal to lose 3 wickets in the first 4 overs but that's something we will work on. We do have big hitters at the death but to give us a little time because the wickets are really fresh in these stadiums and that's something we need to learn as a batting unit. We need to learn how to play risk free cricket and still play our shots. Don't think we chatted so much in the middle, as opening batters we don't really plan too much. We give ourselves a couple of deliveries and if the wicket is good, the plan is to put pressure on the opposition and for both of us to go because we have that extra batter in Jason. But we need to be smart, if we lose a couple of wickets, we need to asses that quickly and which batter is feeling how are all factors to be kept in mind. Yeah, of course this is the best Deepak Hooda has batted, playing with him for the past 3-4 seasons, he loves batting in the nets and he is someone who is keen to his learn. He had to wait his chance in the IPL and he is using it this season, soaking up the pressure early and then exploding. Hopefully he can keep this up and continue the good form."
KL Rahul wins the RuPay on-the-go 4s of the match award.
Umran Malik wins the Swiggy Instamart fastest delivery of the match for his 152.2 KPH delivery!

Deepak Hooda wins the Unacademy Cracking Sixes award.

Punch Super Striker of the match is Ayush Badoni.
Time for the post match presentation.
Krunal Pandya: "Thank you. It feels great. When you win the game for your side, then it feels really great. It is amazing here at LSG. I am enjoying this franchise. Going into the practice regularly, talking and spending time with the teammates. This is my first IPL season far from Mumbai Indians. No, not at all missing Hardik. It is not important to win or lose. But coming back from the loss is important. Our boys have done well and in the three games, we have played really well. I am working on my bowling and now I am feeling really well."
Kane Williamson | SRH Captain: "Feels like this one got away but much better performance from the first outing. We were in a really strong position but that partnership took it away. Credit to the way Hooda and Rahul played. I suppose with the bat we tried to build a partnership but it didn't happen. We need to build some partnerships, get some decent starts and focus on the small margins to move forward with a positive mindset. The guys with the ball were really good, we had a fantastic start and the slog overs were good as well. But for us it was about losing those quick wickets and the game really gets away from you. We will focus on the good bits and hope to improve on this performance as well."
That's it. Lucknow Super Giants have won this match by 12 runs and register their second consecutive win of the season! Lucknow giants were put to bat first and they were 27/3 at the end of 5 overs and were in some trouble. De Kock and Lewis were dismissed cheaply at the score of 1 and Pandey scored 11 off 10 before gifting his wicket away to Shepherd. Kl Rahul and Hooda put on an 87 runs partnership and made sure to counterattack and convert their starts into big scores. Hooda scored his second fifty of the season(51 off 33) with 3 fours and 3 sixes. Rahul played his captain innings today, held one end from the start, and scored 68 off 50 with 6 fours and a six. Badoni played a good little cameo of 19 off 12 and helped reach his team to 169/7. Sundar and Natrajan bowled extremely well today, giving away just 28 runs and 26 runs each in 4 overs and taking 2 wickets too. Imran Malik was the most expensive bowler, giving away 39 runs in his 3 overs.
SRH openers came out and started playing their shots. Williamson(16 off 16) looked good but gifted his wicket to Avesh Khan while playing the lap shot. Abhishek got the start today but could not handle the pressure well. Tripathi finally found his form and was hitting all over the park, scoring 44 off 30 deliveries. Pooran and Sundar were at the crease when 75 was needed in 41 deliveries. Pooran did find some form today, scoring 34 off 24 deliveries but could not finish the match for his team. Sundar tried his best today but could only score 18 runs off 14.

Krunal Pandya bowled some tight lines today and gave away just 27 runs and took 2 crucial wickets too. Avesh Khan was the pick of the bowlers today, taking 4 for 24 in his 4 overs spell and completely changed the momentum of the match in the 18th over. Tye went a little expensive today with 39 runs in 4 overs. Holder was outstanding today,  had the burden of defending 16 runs off the final over and he defended that with ease, using those slower deliveries and dipping Yorkers and giving away just 3 runs!! Hyderabad still searching for the first win this season.

Badoni trickles back a bit and takes this catch. LSG win by 12-runs.
19.5 J Holder to U Malik
1 Fuller length delivery on the off. Umran on the front foot powers it down the ground. But only a single to long off.
