10:00 PM IST| Hope you have enjoyed our live coverage of the LV Insurance County Championship division one game between Essex and Yorkshire at Chelmsford. This is Tugral Azmi signing off along with my fellow commentators Hitesh Pedduwar and Saipavan along with our scorer Yogesh. Then it's goodnight and goodbye.
9.22 PM IST| So that will be the end of Day 4!! We had an exciting 4 days play which unfortunately ended in a draw. Vintage SIR Alastair Cook's show was put on in both the innings. He looked in sublime touch and scored back-to-back tons in both the innings. Matchpoints were divided equally between both teams. The Essex openers batted unbelievably well and added 167 runs stand till the evening without losing any wicket. Nick Brown played a dependable knock in the second innings, giving full support to Cook in building a partnership. He scored his fifth half-century too. There was nothing to offer for the bowlers on this pitch.

Paul Walter and Alaistair cook scored 141 and 107 runs respectively in the first innings for Essex and Harmer scored a fire-powered 54 runs which helped Essex to post a total of 403 runs. Dominic Bess and Jordon Thompson were the picks of the bowlers for Yorkshire in the first innings, both of them took 3 wickets each. Patterson picked up 2 wickets with his lethal bowling. Revis and Hill took one wicket each in the first innings.

In reply, Yorkshire didn't get to the best start in their innings but Former England Captain Joe Root and Revis built a good partnership and scored 75 and 47 runs respectively. Then the innings were built by Dawid Malan and Brook. Harry Brook scored blistering a ton, and Yorkshire was bundled up for 465 runs...

Essex will be happy with their effort with the ball today. They bowled well and hit the right areas consistently. Runs were hard to come by for the Yorkshire batters and also they got 5 wickets in the morning session. Cook and Snater uprooted Yorkshire's most wickets from Essex, both took 3 wickets each. Simon Harmer took two wickets and Critchley took one wicket in the first innings.

Yorkshire is in fourth place in the points table with 51 points and when it comes to Essex, it is in 5th place with 43 points. We wish the best to both the teams for the next match.
