A brilliant comeback performance from Afghanistan as they levelled the series 1-1 beating the hosts by eight wickets. Chasing a fairly easy target on a sticky wicket. Afghanistan started off slowly. A drop catch of Zazai when he was at zero was a costly one. Nasum Ahmed in his follow-through dropped a high ball. The powerplay wasn't too good for Afghanistan batters as well but they scored 34 runs and lost just a wicket in their first six overs. Hazratullah Zazai continued his form and gave the visitors a good start adding 99 for the second wicket with Usman Ghani who scored a brilliant 47 off 48 and helped Afghanistan get a cautious start before shifting the gears.

Zazai went on to hit his third T20I half century (59* off 45) and finished the game off with 14 balls remaining. His knock comprised of 3 fours and 5 sixes all around the park. Both the batters were also favored by fortune as lots of catches were dropped in the deep and in the infield by the Bangladesh fielders.

Mahedi Hasan bowled a magnificent spell of off spin bowling out his four overs for a wicket and nineteen runs, skipper Mahmudullah also bowled an economic single over spell conceding just a couple of runs and picking up Usman Ghani's wicket. Shakib Al Hasan was expensive and was in the receiving end of Zazai's on-slaughter. He struck four sixes in his bowling. Afghanistan will board the flight on a winning note as they levelled a two match T20I series at 1-1.
