A Dominant display by Nottingham Outlaws who after being put in to bat first put up a massive score of 247 for 6 in their 20 overs. Hales and Clarke gave them a good start and once they got out, Duckett and Mullaney stitched up an excellent partnership of 74 off 37 balls with Christian, Patel, and Moores providing the finishing touches. All the Derbyshire bowlers went for runs barring Kerr and McKiernan who had an economy below 10 with a wicket a piece.
Derbyshire in their chase never got going losing wickets at regular intervals losing Reece, and Masood in quick succession. Du Plooy held the innings well for a while but got out at the wrong time and Brooke Guest at the end hit 40* off 27 balls to reduce the margin of defeat. Zak Chappell, S Patel, and Mullaney were pick of the bowlers with 3,3, and 2 wickets each. A proper thrashing given here by Notts to Derbyshire.
