Harsh: It was a good game of cricket overall, dominated by the bowler but ruled by the batsman. If it wasn't for the partnership of Westley and Roefelson then the bowlers wouldn't have dominated the game. Here we sign-off for today's game and I Harsh Shukla would like to thank my co-commentator Ansh, Ishan, and scorer Dushyant for their help throughout the game. Thanks to all the viewers who were connected with us throughout the game. We will meet u with another live-action of cricket from across the world, till then bye and a very good night.
Harsh: So rain washes away the match. It was a good start for Essex, took early wickets in the inning and were in dominating position whole throughout the game. It was Snaiter and Niijar who gave the early start to Essex. The top and middle order totally collapsed after a good bowling performance of Yorkshire, they bowled really well in the death overs. The third wicket partnership between Westley and Roelofsen of 151 runs off 153 balls set the match for Essex. The dominating inning of 90 runs by Roelofsen and Westley of 5r runs summarises the whole batting of the match. The pitch was flat it was offering pace and bounce initially but when the batsman took their ground, they dominated the game. Still, it was a poor batting performance by Essex batsman in the end after a good start, they ended their inning very badly.

Snaiter gave the first breakthrough to Essex after he bowled Fraiyne, he bowled 5 overs and took three crucial wickets, and gave away only 29 runs. Toole also took three wickets in the middle over after bowling 5 overs he took 2 wickets and gave only 19 runs. For Yorkshire, Waite bowl superbly and took three wickets in his 7-over spell. Sullivan and Schutt also took 2 wickets in their spell. Yorkshire bowlers managed to bowl well in the end and took 6 wickets in the death overs.

Overall it was the bowler who dominated the game and took 16 overs in the whole game. Batsman made runs in the middle over but it took them a toil full of patience to stand there and make runs for themselves. Essex won the match by 88 runs by (D/L method).
20.27 IST | Ishan: More covers are on the pitch as the rain got a bit heavier.
20.10 IST | Ishan: Bad news, it has started raining here and the players are going out of the field for a moment. It's not heavy though, covers are on the pitch. Hopefully, it is just a short delay.
