Milestone
This is it from the live coverage of the 27th game of THE HUNDRED, as we conclude this game with Oval Invincibles winning it by 6 wickets. That's it for today from myself Hitesh Peddurwar alongside my co-commentators Deepak Prakash with our scorer/analyst Zeeshan Naiyer. See you soon again with more games to follow till then stay safe.
Sam Billings(Winning Captain):" Yeah really god win we needed it to stay in the competition I think five or six teams now can qualify obviously we have missed Narine he was an asset for us. We played like a proper team tonight the fielding was top class today, yeah you can talk about us as much as you want and we want our guys to perform in the middle as well, It was a tricky target to chase, to be honest, the ball was holding up a bit in the middle.
As a team, we know that we have got skills we need to perform well on Wednesday and sneak away with a win."
Sam Curran (player of the match): " It is pretty simple for us. We need to win the last two games including today. We have struggled to take wickets in the powerplay this season. The wickets weren't that amazing. I think Jacks should be standing here. He killed the chase today. Tom played a lovely cameo towards the end as well. We have had so many changes because of injuries and guys leaving. We have tried to integrate everyone coming into the side. Thank You."
Sam Curran is the player of the match.
Oval Invincibles have won the game by 6 wickets!!!

While chasing a target off 123 runs, Oval Invincibles got off to a good start, Will Jacks and Jordon Cox(9 off 9) stitched a partnership of 33 runs for the first wicket. Will Jacks was in a whole different mood today, as he took the charge straight away and didn't allow the required run rate to pile. Anything that was in the slot, Will Jacks didn't shy off in dispatching into the stands.

He was accompanied by Rillie Rossouw( 24 off 22) in the middle both the batters stitched a partnership of 58 runs off 41 balls for the 2nd wicket. Will Jacks got dismissed after scoring 54 runs off 38 runs.  Tom Curran was in a hurry to finish off the innings as he was dealing in boundaries he scored quick fired 19* off 9 balls, and took his team over the line.

London Spirit bowlers looked a bit rusty as they were unable to hit the right line and lengths regularly and they paid price for it as Oval Invincibles sneaked away with an easy win. The pick of the bowlers for London Spirit was Liam Dawson as he scalped a wicket and gave away just 21 runs in 4-sets.

Earlier in the day. London Spirt were only able to put 122 runs on the board with the fall of 7 wickets in the 100 balls. Rossington was the highest scorer for them as he scored 36 off 22 balls.
Sam Curran was exceptional with his bowling as he scalped three wickets and gave away just 16 runs in his 4-sets.
