NIKHIL: So, we are done here with the Southern Brave side winning the game, as they chased down a total of 107 in just 69 deliveries with 9 wickets in hand.
The Welsh Fire side started their innings in a poor manner as they managed to score just 21 losing 3 important wickets in the first 25 deliveries.
Banton and Clarke started the innings for Welsh but the pair was broken on the 4th delivery itself as Clarke was dismissed by Overton without troubling the scorers and was soon followed by his partner Banton who perished to Hogan on a score of 6. Pope walked in next and he lasted just 10 deliveries and he got cleaned up by Overton on 10. Nobody managed to put up a fight other than Ben Duckett who scored 40 runs.
For the Southern Brave team, Overton took a couple of wickets Starting with Clarke and Pope in the earlier stages. Hogan and Lintott got rid of Banton and Hain. Jordan took a couple of wickets late in the innings to restrict the Welsh side to a total of 107 runs.
In reply to the target set by the Welsh Fire team, Southern Brave started in the best possible way as they scored 42 runs in the first 25 deliveries without losing any wicket.
Davies and Vince started off in a thumping manner scoring 72 together. They smashed the bowlers of the Welsh team all around the park. Davies eventually perished as he tried to pull one on a score of 26 off Jake Ball. Stoinis then walked in and he along with Vince eased passed the total set in front of them. Vince was the top scorer for the Southern Brave as he scored 71 not out.
No bowler could take advantage of the Hybrid nature of this track and Only Jake Ball managed to pick up a solo wicket of Davies that was too little too late.
