It was a thrilling second game of the Women's 100!! Two back-to-back high chases!! The tournament has a lot more entertainment to offer. That's it from us today, I am Ovaise Shariff signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Arya Sekhar Chakraborthy and scorer Manish Bishnoi. Hope you enjoyed the coverage! See you in the next one! Goodbye and goodnight!! Have a great weekend!
Danielle Wyatt- "Trying to get more stronger in the gym. You have to know your game, pick the bowlers and today was my day. Great start, Beth Mooney batted brilliantly for them. Smith played well and our bowlers did very well to keep them to that score."

Beth Mooney’s brilliant knock goes down in vain as Southern Brave Women have won the match with 6 wickets in hand and 6 balls still left in the game!! Danielle Wyatt played a blinder and took the game away from the London Spirit in the power play.

Earlier in the day, The London Spirits skipper Charlotte Dean won the toss and chose to bat. Beth Mooney looked in some fantastic touch right from the get-go. Grace Scrivens accompanied her put to open the batting. Scrivens was dismissed by Georgia Adams on her very first ball.

Amelia Kerr walked out into the middle and joined  Beth Mooney, together they stitched up a brilliant partnership and put the London Spirits in a strong position. They manipulated the field to perfection and Mooney in particular was hammering to all parts of the ground. She played a fantastic knock, the innings had power, placement and some touch play as well!! It was a treat to watch her bat today.

Beth Mooney fell short of 3 runs, she has starved of the strike n the last set!  The Australian opener finished on an unbeaten 97 and was well supported by Amelia Kerr who stitched a fantastic partnership and took their team to a massive total of 155 in 100!

It looks like a decent total of the board at the end of the 1st inning but Danielle Wyatt and Smriti Mandhana came out to open the batting and played with great intent and used the power play brilliantly!!  Smrithi Mandhana was dismissed by Danielle Gibson on the 37th ball when the score was 62.

Dunkley walked out to bat and supported Wyatt very well and together they took the team close to victory before London Spirit made a comeback but getting a Danielle Wyatt run out!! Dunkley continued with her merry way and was ably supported by Georgia Adams and Freya Kemp. Eventually, The Southern Brave Women got over the line comfortably with 6 balls to spare and 6 wickets still in hand!!

94b C Dean to F Kemp
6 Six of the first delivery she faced and finishes the match off with another six. She is an incredible teenage batter. Comes down the track and converts this fuller-length delivery into a full toss and lifts this over the bowler's head and it clears the straight boundary.
93b C Dean to F Kemp
0 Kemp comes down the track and crunches this fuller-length delivery all along the ground and finds the mid-off fielder.
92b C Dean to S Dunkley
1 Good-length delivery on the stumps and that has been nudged away with soft hands towards the on side for a single.
91b C Dean to S Dunkley
4 That should seal the deal for the Southern Braves here. A boundary to start, a tossed up delivery around the leg stump channel. Dunkley gets down on one knee, gives herself just a bit of room and swings it away towards the deep square leg region and finds the boundary. There is enough space on the on side boundary and the placement was perfect there.

90b M Schutt to S Dunkley
1 A single to end this set. Good delivery from Megan Schutt. Follows Dunkley on that occasion, she makes some room and only manages to dig that full one towards the long-on fielder for a single.
89b M Schutt to F Kemp
1 Kemp manages to dig out that yorker-length delivery on the stumps. Works it away towards the deep midwicket area for a single.
88b M Schutt to S Dunkley
1 That has been swung across the line by Dunkley picks out the fielder at deep midwicket. On a length around off and middle, Dunkley clears her front leg and smashes this hard. One bounce to the deep midwicket fielder and a single taken.
87b M Schutt to F Kemp
1 Slower delivery on a length just a tad outside off. Drop and run on this occasion, Kemp taps it away towards the off side and sets off for a quick single.
86b M Schutt to F Kemp
0 Fuller angling this into Kemp and she misses out on the attempted flick.
Ovaise: RELEASES ALL THE PRESSURE!! What a shot from Freya Kemp!! Shot of the day, under pressure off the first ball she faces!! WOW! SIXXXXX!!

85b D Gibson to F Kemp
6 How about that for a first ball. This is absolutely ridiculous. To half that belief to clear the front leg and deposit it over the boundary is something to behold. Tossed up from Gibson, Kemp gets down one knee straightaway and connects the slog to perfection and it clears the widish long-on fence comfortably.
