Shakib Al Hasan (Captain Fortune Barishals/ Player of the Match): The batting has been going really well for me, while the bowing was always there. Our bowlers have been performing well so far in the tournament, credit goes to Bravo and the others who have been great for the side. It is good to finish at the top of the table and we will look to finish strong. Munim Shahriar has been really good for us, has all the traits to play for Bangladesh, good striker of the ball, times it nicely, we'll have to take care of his future. He has certainly been the find of the tournament.

Mahmudullah Riyad (Captain Minister Group Dhaka): "Yes, I think Tamim has been outstanding throughout the tournament. Unfortunately, we didn't get enough runs on the board. But I think the way Barishal batted, it was good to see. When you're defending 128 runs, you need to pick up 2-3 wickets early in the power play, but credit goes to the Barishal batters. We need to rely on luck now, few games were very close and they didn't go our way. Hopefully, we can qualify. If we do, we need to perform very well with the bat."

Saket: Fortune Barishal have chased this below-par total of 128 runs in 15.3 overs thanks to the heroics of Shakib. Minister Group Dhaka needed a win to secure a spot in the play-off they have failed to get things done here and as a result, will have to rely on other results.

Earlier in the day Minister Group Dhaka won the toss and decided to bat first. They lost two wickets up top in the powerplay. Sheikh and Islam were dismissed within four overs. Mujeeb ur Rahman was all over the Dhaka batters. Tamim Iqbal was the only one who was comfortable out there in the middle. Hom and Tamim did manage to bring thick back on track with a decent 5th wicket partnership. Dhaka were on course for something around 140 but then came another collapse. In the 17th over Tamim Iqbal was sent back to the pavilion by Mehdi Hasan. He was the top scorer for Dhaka with 66 runs off 50 balls. They kept losing wickets at regular intervals post that. Barishal bowlers dominated the Minister Group batters. The likes of Mujeeb and Bravo made life difficult out there for the batters. Mujeeb was the pick of the bowlers as he picked up a wicket in his four overs and only conceded 15 runs. MGD could only manage 128 runs for the loss of 9 wickets.

The Fortune Barishals started off strong in the chase as Munim Shahriar slapped the bowlers all across the park, to give his team a great start to the chase. Chris Gayle was the first to depart as the big man was unable to score big. Najmul Shanto was the next man in line as he settled in quick and batted well as Shahriar continued his carnage. The batter tried to go big once again but found the fielder bringing an end to his innings. The skipper Shakib Al Hasan was the next man in line and he turned back the clock as the players were all over the bowlers, he scored 51 runs off 29 deliveries as the Barishals chased down the total with 27 balls to spare.
