Milestone
That's it from this enthralling contest between the two brilliant sides. But in the end, it was the Comilla Victorians who came out as the winners. Nevertheless, it was a great game of cricket. Hope you have enjoyed all the action on our network. Now you can switch the tab on the ongoing 2nd ODI between India and West Indies for more action. For now, this is me Ajay Ahire signing it off along with my co-commentators Badal Pareek, Saurabh Saket and scorer Zeeshan Naiyer. Until then stay safe and stay cool...
Imrul Kayes (Captain Comilla Victorians): We batted really well today, it's nice when your bowlers perform well. Mustafizur has been really good for us and he was excellent today as well. The opposition batted very well in the first ten overs but we knew if we could get some wickets we could make a comeback into the game.
Mahmudul Hasan Joy (Player of the match): "No I thought it was a good wicket to bat and tried to bat long as a result got the half-century (On asking about the pitch conditions). I know our batting line-up was big and deep and the coach told me that if you got in so try to bat long as much as you can."
Ravi Bopara (Captain Sylhet Sunrisers): No our performance wasn't that great in the last ten overs, but it's tough here for the new batters to come in and score big runs. Credit to the opposition as they bowled well in the death overs, they have some good bowlers like Narine who pulled the game away from us. We did try to give our best until the end, Babu bowled excellently but  its hard to defend in the death overs.
What a game of cricket this was. It went to the wire and Comilla comes out as a winner in this contest. As they beat the Sunrisers by 4 wickets. Sunil Narine kept his cool at the end and played a match-winning cameo for his team. Before that, a lot of hard work was put in with the bat by the Comilla batters. Mahmudul Hasan scored 65 runs from 50 balls at the top. Moeen also chipped in with a brilliant 46 in the middle overs. But in the end, Sunil Narine made the difference in the end.

Chasing 170 the Comilla Victorians didn't get the start that they were hoping for. Litton Das was dismissed on the score of 7 in the second over of the Bowling of Swadhin who got the breakthrough on the very first ball of his spell. The experienced and overseas import Faf du Plessis can't make any impact in the chase as he was trapped in front of the wickets on the score of 2.

Sylhet Sunrisers were on top of the game after the powerplay. Then Moeen Ali and Mahmudul Hasan played beautifully in the middle overs and got their chase back on track. As they kept scoring the boundaries at regular intervals. Moeen Ali threw away his wicket as he went chasing the nothing delivery from Ravi Bopara. Imrul Kayes came in at number 5 and he went bonkers from ball number 1. He scored quick 16 runs from 8 balls before he was knocked over by Nazmul Islam.

The opening batter Mahmudul Hasan who carried the innings until the 18th over lost his wicket at the very wrong time as he was dismissed on the score of 65 from 50 balls. On the next ball, Babu picked up the wicket of Ariful Haque and brought the fielding side back into the game.

Sunil Narine came out for bat at the end of the chase. And played the most impactful cameo of the bat as he struck a couple of boundaries at the right time for the batting side. He scored 24 runs from only 12 balls. He was absolutely calm and composed throughout his stay and that helped them to cross the final hurdle.

Stay tuned for the presentations...
19.5 A Babu to A Hider
4 Four! Hider finishes it off in style here with a boundary. Full toss on the pads of the batter who flicks it past square leg for a boundary. The worst possible delivery in such a tense situation as the Victorians win by 4 wickets here.
19.4 A Babu to A Hider
0 Things are getting interesting here. Dot ball here and 1 run needed off the last two balls. Slower ball on good length outside off stump, a swing and a miss by the batter here.
19.3 A Babu to S Narine
1 Match tied! Low full toss on the pads of the batter who flicks it towards deep square leg for a single.
19.2 A Babu to S Narine
0 Full and wide outside off stump, Narine looks to push at it but fails to get bat on this one. Just 2 runs needed here.
19.1 A Babu to A Hider
1 Hider gets Narine back on strike. Full length delivery on the stumps driven down the ground towards long-on for a single.

18.6 A Swadhin to S Narine
6 Six! Ohh my lord, that's Natrajan shot for maximum by Sunil Narine. He has brought his team on the doorsteps to victory here. Short pitch delivery on the hips of the batter who stays deep in the crease and goes over deep square leg for a maximum here. That's awful bowling.
Ajay: Narine gets the boundary at the right time and they are in front of the game now. One more hit and that will do it for the Comilla.
18.5 A Swadhin to S Narine
4 Four! Narine says let's just rub salt to the wounds here. A touch short on the stumps and Narine stays deep in his crease to pull it towards deep mid-wicket for a boundary. He is keeping this chase well within their reach.
18.5 A Swadhin to S Narine
WD Wide! Third wide of the over. Good length delivery going down the leg side.
18.4 A Swadhin to A Hider
1 Hider gets off the mark with a single here and most importantly he gets Narine back on strike. Short pitch delivery wide outside off stump, he gets an inside edge onto the pads. The ball deflects off towards covers for a quick single.
18.3 A Swadhin to S Narine
1 Full length delivery on the stumps, Narine swings hard at it ends up edging it onto the pads as the ball rolls towards short third man and they sneak in a single.
