Milestone
That's it from this fixture. We will be back with the second fixture of the day from the BPL shortly. Do join us for that as well as all other coverages from all across the globe. This is Saurabh Saket signing off on behalf of my co-commentators Badal Pareek, Ayan Chatterjee and our scorer/analyst Zeeshan Naiyer. Thanks for joining us, see you soon.
Mahmudullah Riyad | Winning Captain: "I think we had a close game yesterday and it was similar today but we did end up on the right side today. We can't sit back and relax, we will have to take the momentum from here. We batter well in the middle and Hom did a very good job in the end. He is a very handy all-rounder to have in your team. Hopefully, we can carry on the momentum from here."
Arafat Sunny (Player of the Match): "Getting two wickets was great. Happy to execute the plan. Since I bowled a maiden wicket over, that helped gain momentum. The pitch was not behaving that bad, I was trying to bowl wicket-to-wicket and that enabled me to get success here. I am happy with my team's success and would like to carry on my good form in the coming games. "
Mushfiqur Rahim | Losing Captain: "I thought it was a great game of cricket. We thought something around 140 was a good total and we did make things difficult for them. I guess we were just 10 to 15 runs short. Raza was in some form but he had no support from the other end. All the boys tried their best. We couldn't do it today but hopefully, we still have two games and we can get the right results in those matches."
Time for presentation here.
Saket: Minister Group Dhaka won by 5 wickets. Hom smashes two sixes in the final over to takes his team over the line here.

Earlier in the day Khulna Tigers won the toss and decided to bat first. Their decision to bat first on the used surface didn't work out for the side as they could only manage to score 129 runs in their 20 overs. They lost their opener, Soumya Sarkar, in the first over itself. Ali walked in at number three to accompany Fletcher in the middle. A miss-communication resulted in the run out of Ali and soon Fletcher followed him back to the pavilion. Sunny picked up Fletcher and Yasir Ali in back to back balls to dismantle the Khulna Tigers batting order. They kept losing wickets at regular intervals and never really got going. Their entire top order and middle order failed to have a significant contribution. Sikandar Raza was the only one who looked comfortable out there. He played a lone hand and helped his team get to some sort of total. He ended up scoring a half-century. He scored 64 runs for his side and had a great role to help put up a respectable total on the board.

Minister Group Dhaka had a slow start as they lost their openers early in the chase. Jahrul Islam and Mahmudullah tried to hold the innings for their side as they had a stable partnership to put their team right back on the track. Khulna however fired back with constructive wickets to push their way back into the game. The game went down to the wire as Dhaka needed 15 off the last two overs. Shuvagata and Omarzai tried their best to push their team past the finish line, but Khalid Ahmad bowled a brilliant 19th over just giving four runs off the over. Shuvagata Hom however had no plans to quit as he danced down the ground on the first delivery to slam Perera down the ground for a maximum. He finished off in style with another maximum in the next delivery to help Dhaka cross the line with a five-wicket victory over their opponents.M
19.2 T Perera to S Hom
6 Hom finishes off things in style with a maximum. Back of a length delivery outside off stump, Perera bowls a slower one here as Hom makes room and goes over deep covers for a maximum. MGD have won by 5 wickets here.
19.1 T Perera to S Hom
6 Six! Bang! Six off the first ball, just 5 needed off 5 balls. Slower ball on full length as the batter advances a touch and goes over the head of the bowler for a maximum. What a start by the batter.
Ayan: Wow, this game is still alive. 11 runs are needed off the final over. 10 for the super over. Which way is it going to go? Who bowls the final over? Thisara Perera I guess.

17.6 T Perera to A Omarzai
1 Slower ball on back of a length outside off stump as the batter plays it towards point on the bounce for a quick single. 15 runs needed off the last 2 overs.
17.5 T Perera to A Omarzai
2 Slower ball on full length at the stumps as the batter goes straight down the ground. What an effort by the man in the deep who gets his hands of this one and flicks it inside at the very end to save four runs for his team. He tries to flick it to his partner but it goes over his head. What an effort by the fielder here.
