Update 6:15(IST): I am afraid I bring more bad news. It is not pouring heavily but it is heavier than a drizzle. The groundmen have gone off again.

Good evening and welcome to to match number 20 in this year's BPL. This is Anmol and I will be joined by shortly joined by my fellow commentators Badal and Ovaise to bring you all the action and live updates as they unfold. Zeeshan will be there with us throughout the night to handle the scoring side of things.

The Comilla Victorians are back to winning ways after emerging victorious in a rain-affected encounter against Chattogram Challengers. The foundation for that win was laid by Mustafizur Rehman, as the left armer ran rough shots against Challengers batting line-up. Naeem Islam’s men had no answers to Fizz’s variations and finished with a mediocre 138. Thanks to the efforts of Liton Das and skipper Imrul Kayes the Victorians chased it down with relative ease. With their fourth win in just five games, Victorians are perched at the top of the points table. The second team involved in this clash, Minister Group Dhaka will draw confidence from the fact that solitary loss in Victorians’ campaign was their undoing.

After a poor start to their campaign where they lost three of their first four games, MGD have turned it around for good and have stacked up back to back victories. Currently, they are placed third with three wins and as many losses. Mahmudullah’s Dhaka are coming off a three-day break and will hope for a similar result.

It will be interesting to see if the reverse encounter between the two sides will prove to be an aberration in Victorians’ campaign or will MGD have their number again. Join us for this high octane clash at 6 pm local time.
