Imrul Kayes | Losing Captain: "Everything was good but in the end, we didn't bowl well. We bowled well in the powerplay but failed to hit our areas in the end. The run-out cost us the game as we lost wickets in the middle overs. When I and Joy were batting, we were in with a chance and we have power-hitters on our side but back-to-back wickets cost us the game. Moeen Ali is joining us and Narine's inclusion will add depth to our batting and bowling. Hope we get back to winning ways."

Comilla Victorians were on course to chase down this total when all of sudden they had a collapse and now have been bowled out for 131 in 17.3 overs. Minister Group Dhaka have won by 50 runs.
Earlier in the day, Comilla Victorians won the toss and asked Minister Group Dhaka to bat first. The Victorians got off to the perfect start as Mustafizur Rahman dismissed the dangerous Shahzad in the second over of the match. Uzzaman then joined Tamim in the middle, they managed to consolidate the innings. Dhaka were 55-2 when Mahmudullah Riyad walked out to the crease. He went on to play a heroic inning for his team. He hardly had any sort of support from the other end but still managed to get them to a mammoth first innings total of 181. He remained not out on 70 off 41 balls. The skipper led from the front and made sure his team had a good enough total on board. Tanvir Islam picked up two wickets for 36 runs in 4 overs. The Fiz and Nahidul Islam were the two bowlers who had an economy of below 7.

They were on course and could have easily taken it down to the wire. Russell came into the attack and dismissed both the set batters in the same over. All of a sudden things were not in control for the Victorians. They kept losing wickets at regular intervals and at one stage they lost 6 wickets in around five overs. They went from being 82-2 in 10 overs to 115 for 7 in no time. They ended up getting all out for 131 runs. It was some collapse as wickets kept tumbling. This was a length delivery on the stumps, Mustafizur makes room and tries to hit it over mid off but doesn't get it off the middle of the bat as he skies it. Mahmudullah at mid off moves to his right and pouches it safely with a reverse cup.
