So it is time for me, Sourya Chowdhury to bid you good night with my fellow commentators Arijit Kundu, Arya Sekhar Chakraborty and our scorer Zeeshan Naier. We hope you enjoyed our coverage of this ODI.

Quinton de Kock, player of the match: “ It was nice to get out there and score some runs. The lack of game time does catch up with you and it was good to get out there and get some batting in. Janneman and I have a good relationship up front there. We rotated the strike and had a great time in general. I was unsure about that stumping, was thinking there might be a chance. It has been great as a father, it has changed my life view for sure.”

Temba Bavuma, South Africa skipper- Very happy. You know there was the objective ahead of the series that we wanted to win in. Lot of positives we can take from this series. It's great to have Quinney back. He reminded us again why he is such a valuable player. Look as a team we have a lot of self-belief in our abilities. We believe in each other and go out there and fight for each other. We don't rely on individual performances and try to put out a performance as a team. It gave us a lot of motivation. The spinners have done a splendid job.

Shamsi has been the No 1 bowler in this format. Keshav is right behind and Aiden also chipped in well. To bring in the spin bowlers bring in for us is special. I enjoyed the captaincy since I have captained in domestic cricket. I try to inspire guys within the team. To be able to call on those guys is great. Captaincy is something that I enjoy. The 3-0 sounds a lot better than 2-1. Have a couple of drinks and prepare for Sunday.
Sourya: But all their hopes were dashed by an excellent opening stand between Quinton de Kock and Janneman Malan (91 off 108) of 132 that all but took the game away from India. Only Jasprit Bumrah (1/37) really did something significant with the ball, while his opening ball partner Bhuvneshwar was taken to all corners of the park. Despite three quick wickets, Aiden Markram and Rassie van der Dussen made short work of the chase in the end to give their team an unassailable 2-0 lead. The series moves on to Cape Town for the third ODI.
Sourya: So South Africa have wrapped up a convincing series win here at Paarl with a seven-wicket win over India in the 2nd ODI. They dominated the visitors in all departments especially with the willow and made short work of the target set by the Indians, who put up 287-6 on a slow pitch that looked stiffer than it actually was.
Batting first this time, India lost Shikhar Dhawan and  Virat Kohli relatively early, with the latter getting out for a duck, but rode a good partnership between captain KL Rahul and Rishabh Pant (85 off 71) and a great rearguard act from Shardul Thakur (40 off 38) to post a total they must have thought they can pose a challenge with. Pant perished after a rollicking innings while trying to clear the fence, if he had stayed around, India could have made more. Tabraiz Shamsi picked up 2/57 for the Proteas.
Kl Rahul| Losing captain(India): "Ahh yes, I think so, They are really playing some good cricket at their home. And we are making some mistakes. Always not a great thing for us. A good learning for us though. We are a team who likes to take pride of our victories. We are a team who don't want to make changes with individuals but if needed in terms of strategies. We wish to take those wickets in the middle, maintain pressure and do much better. Yes, it does feel like one of the wickets at home. Yeah and I don't think it's a pitch where we could've chased down 280 that well. They have really chased well. They have made a great partnership together, Lot of positives actually, the way Shikhar batted was really good. The way Pant batted today is really a positive. The way he took the spinners out as well. He is really important to the team. Shardul batted well down the order. Jasprit was sensational with the ball. Yuzi too was good. So yeah, lots of positives. Ahh yes, I think the energy has been great. It's been hot over here. We haven't played 50 overs cricket for long time. I am not saying it as an excuse. But we haven't been heating our body for the 50 overs a long time. The guys have run from the red ball cricket and come down here directly. Too early to say, Mark. Perhaps, get down and relax, cool down. Meet the coach and staffs tomorrow and see if there could be any changes."
Time for the Presentation ceremony.
48.1 S Iyer to A Markram
1 And that's it. It has been a tremendous run-chase from the home team. Shreyas Iyer with the. ball. A wide short leg-spinner outside off and Markram plays it away down mid-off and takes a single to seal the series for the home team.
South Africa
Rassie van der Dussen
Aiden Markram
Bhuvneshwar Kumar
47.6 B Kumar to R van
0 Rassie takes it to the penultimate over. A slower knuckle ball on the stumps. Dussen defends this off the frontfoot. Certainly an anti-climax and the reaction from the South African players are priceless.
47.5 B Kumar to A Markram
1 Another slower delivery on a length just outside off. Markram punches this down the mid-off area and takes a single. Just one required for South Africa to seal the match and the series.
47.4 B Kumar to R van
1 Fuller-length slower delivery outside the off-stump. Dussen nudges it away off the frontfoot down the deep cover-point region and rotates the strike.
47.3 B Kumar to R van
2  South Africa just one hit away from a series-winning victory. Back of a length delivery this time from Bhuvneshwar Kumar. Van der Dussen tucks it away off his hips down the deep square leg region and has enough time to return for a couple of runs.
47.2 B Kumar to A Markram
1 A knuckle ball on a length from Bhuvneshwar Kumar. Markram punches this on the up, down the ground and takes a single down the long-on area.
Arijit: Bumrah finishes off with figures of 10-0-37-1. How good has he been! This certainly works as evidence of how poor the other bowlers have been today.
47.1 B Kumar to R van
1 Bhuvneshwar Kumar continues. Bowls a length delivery on the stumps that is worked away off the frontfoot down the mid-on area for a single by Dussen.
South Africa
Aiden Markram
Rassie van der Dussen
Jasprit Bumrah
46.6 J Bumrah to A Markram
0 Again swing and a miss. On a length slower delivery outside off. Markram heaves across the line in an attempt to finish off proceedings early but is beaten one more time. A great spell from Jasprit Bumrah comes to an end.
