Gajanand Singh is the Man of the Match for his brilliant knock of 65 off 42 balls.

Gajanand : Just kept things simple and played according to situation. This means a lot for me and my family. Me and Modani took the chances calculatively and it worked. If we continue to play like this, definitely we have chance to win the series.
Monank : We did well in the qualifiers played last month. Eventhough we lost few quality players but still boys did well. Gajanand and Modani batted beautifully by watching out for bowlers and picking shots at right time. In bowling, Changes to bring Netravalkar worked today. Ali Khan has the ability to bowl 24 yorkers in a row. Looking to win the series tomorrow and its very special if we do it.
Balbirnie : We can't play the way we played. Need to start well with the bat. We need to regroup for the game tomorrow and was pretty disappointing to be off with the ball in the second half, not able to capitalize on the start given by Stirling. Not able to capitalize and we deserve to lose.

Needing a competitive 189, Ireland got off to bad start, losing Balbirnie to an aggressive bowling from Ali Khan. But Stirling took them on with boundaries flowing, before being dismissed at the fag end of Powerplay with score reading 54/2.
At half way stage, needing 115 runs to get, Tucker was the lone warrior for Ireland as he punished the bowlers all over the park for a well made 57, but couldn't get Ireland close enough to the target of 189.
Netravalkar did pick up two wickets alongside Nisarg Patel, but Ali Khan was the man who stole the show, with his brilliant yorkers at the death. So, USA on a historical day have ended up winning First T20 International by a decent margin of 26 runs and have definitely shown the world what they can do!!
