What a game we have witnessed here. Seekkuge Prasanna, the star of the show tonight has done it for Colombo Stars. They won the match with 5 wickets still in hand. Lahiru Kumara couldn't believe that but has to go home with that baggage.
Warriors were put into bat first by Angelo Mathews and they started off with a quick fire innings from Kennar Lewis and Asalanka. Not a long time after, Stars bowlers were building pressure back again and didn't let their batters get run easily. Warriors innings were collapsing until that last over where they got 14 crucial runs. In reply, Stars batters had a very slow start and were the victim of spin magic on this track. Dinesh Chandimal, Angelo Mathews, Priyanjan all tried their hand at scoring a few runs but it wasn't enough to seal the victory. 31 required off the last 2 overs and out comes Prasanna and starts off with a bang!
