Tamil Nadu have done it, the champions of this Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2021-22. A great effort from Karnataka too but unlike last time they have to go back home this time without the trophy. Batting first, Karnataka scored a decent total of 151 in their 20 overs, Abhinav Manohar played a great knock of 46 along with Praveen Dubey and Suchith with their crucial 33 and 18 respectively. On the other hand, Tamil Nadu left arm Sai Kishore with his 3 for 12 was the star of the show. With the bat, Tamil Nadu got a decent start with Nishaanth scoring a quick 26 but they kept losing wickets in quick successions and we all know how it ended. Shah Rukh Khan, man of the hour. A special innings by this special player with a special name! Prateek bowled it down the leg and he hammered it to deep square leg for a massive hit! What a shot to win the tournament.
