That's all from the presentation party and that's all for this week's Pakistan National T20 Cup coverage. We will be back with the coverage of Match number 9, Sindh v Balochistan on Wednesday. Hope you enjoyed our coverage.
Stay tuned to Onecricket and Cricketexchange for our coverage of other tournaments around the world. Stay safe and good night!
Hussain Talat is the player of the match!
"170 was a good total, the plan was to make good partnerships to lead to good total. I followed the plan prepared by Wahab bhai and it worked out well for us."
KP captain Mohammad Rizwan, "Credit goes to Central Punjab, they used both their powerplays well. We went a bit away from the match but some good points for us as Asif Afridi and Wasim did well."
Central Punjab skipper Babar Azam, "Good effort by the boys, we started well and used the powerplay well. Hussain Talat played a good knock to lead us to a good total. Having Shoaib Malik and other senior players is a good thing for the team as they help around any way in crunch situations."
That's it from Rawalpindi for the weekend. Central Punjab had the upper hand on the match since the first innings when they amassed 82 runs in the first 10 overs. Hussain Talat (51) and Ahmed Shehzad (40) contributed well to put up a challenging score of 171.

In reply, Central Punjab picked up 4 wickets in the powerplay itself. Wahab Riaz being the pick of the bowlers with 3 for 21. He is also a contender for the player of the match award. Mohammad Wasim and Sahibzada Farhan scored 30 runs each but there was no other worthy contribution with the bat for KP.
Also this is only the second time a team has won defending a total in this tournament so far. Co-incidentally KP was the team to do so against the same opposition in match number 2.

The presentation ceremony to follow.
