That's all we have from the commentary box. Do join us for another doubleheader tomorrow. Till then it's ta-ta and goodnight from me (Arya Sekhar Chakraborty) on the behalf of my fellow commentator Akshay Bhide.
Aaron Finch, Australia skipper- That was a really good performance, I think Sri Lanka got off to a flyer and then for Adam Zampa and Starc to get as us back was fantastic. All that quicks were good Un the powerplay I felt they were going at 15 runs per over, Chasing that down was good. We knew we had to be calm. You look at see that's only 8 runs an over, Keep sticking to plans.

They have players who can take the game away from you. Nice when you get couple of in the middle of the bat. We knew the two spinners will play a big role. Hasaranga and Theekshana. We took a few chances and it paid off.

As a batter I love batters getting Man of the Match but looking at the impact, Zamps had a wonderful game. Especially when the right-handers had a short boundary, he bowled brilliantly. Its always a great battle against England no matter what format. They have been the form side in the white ball format for a long time. They take the game on.
Dasun Shanaka, Sri Lanka skipper- I have to admit that wicket is too good today. We got the start we needed bit we couldn't qyte capitalise in the middle overs. Losing good batsmen in the middle overs cost us. Its a bit of concern.

The last game Asalanka took it to a good position but we have to work on this. We were 23-30 runs short on that wicket. Ball was coming nicely onto the bat. Actually we know how good those two batsmen are in world cricket.

We had to bowl well and contain them in the powerplay which we didn't do. In the coming days we have to capitalise in the powerplay. Sharjah wicket, we have played two games there and have read the pitch and have good plans against South Africa.
It's time for the post-match presentation ceremony with Alan Wilkins.
Adam Zampa is the Player of the Match- Sri Lanka got off to a flier so we needed to peg them back. The wicket was slow. The moisture and dew took effect in the second innings. Nothing to it. (on always bowling well against Sri Lanka) I find them really challenging playing against Sri Lanka.

Very good players against spin. I bowled well today against a good batting line-up against spin. I have tried to bowl in the powerplay and in the backend in recent times. But with the quicks we have and Maxwell they will do most of the bowling in the powerplay and the backend.

Yeah, I am. David played really well. Those guys needed some. They had some pressure from the media. Finch and Smith played really well so did Davey (referring to David Warner).
Alan Wilkins with the Player of the Match.

Arya: A thoroughly professional run chase from Australia as they make it two in two after a 7 wicket victory with three overs to spare. The run chase could have been tricky for the Aussies had they lost early wickets. However, the opening duo of David Warner played brilliantly and never really allowed the Lankans to get back into the game.

Warner was under enormous pressure coming into the game and the Sri Lankans allowed him to roar back to form courtesy a drop chance by wicket-keeper Kusal Perera. It was a sitter to be honest and that was the final nail in the coffin for the Lankans as they could never really recover from that as the Aussie openers made hay.

Finch and Warner both played some delectable shots especially in the powerplay to set the ball rolling for the Aussies. They got off to a fascinating start in the powerplay and there was no way back for the Lankans from there on. Wanindu Hasaranga provided the Lankans with their maiden breakthrough when Finch chopped a googly onto his stumps. '

Glenn Maxwell also fell cheaply but it was Steve Smith along with Warner made sure that the target was well within reach. Warner scored a brilliant half-century and in the end it was Marcus Stoinis who smashed an unbeaten 16 of a mere 7 deliveries to get Australia over the finishing line.

16.6 L Kumara to M Stoinis
4 That's it. That's the end of the game. Stoinis finishes things with a boundary and they chase down the total with 3 overs to spare. This should boost their net run rate. Kumara bowls a fuller delivery outside off, Stoinis stands still and drills it in the gap between covers and mid off for a boundary.
16.5 L Kumara to S Smith
1 Kumara nails the yorker around off, Smith pushes it in the gap in the off side and gets down the other end.
16.4 L Kumara to M Stoinis
1 Kumara shortens his length as Stoinis slogs it towards long on for a single.
16.3 L Kumara to M Stoinis
6 WOWWW!!! What a shot that was from Stoinis. Kumara bowls it fuller on the stumps, Stoinis with his strong wrists tonks it over wide long on for a biggie. That went flat and hard into the stands.
16.2 L Kumara to M Stoinis
0 On a length outside off, Stoinis drives at it but mistimes it towards covers.
16.1 L Kumara to S Smith
3 Fuller delivery around off, Smith drives it crisply past covers and collects three runs. Sublime timing from Smith on this occasion.

15.6 C Karunaratne to S Smith
1 One to finish. Slower delivery outside off, Smith late cuts it but can't beat short third man. Collects a single. There is a direct hit at the striker's end but Stoinis is well in.
15.5 C Karunaratne to S Smith
2 Nicely driven by Smith. Good length delivery outside off, Smith gets a stride forward and drives it nicely past covers for a couple of runs.
15.5 C Karunaratne to S Smith
WD A bumper way above Smith's head and the umpire signals it wide.
15.4 C Karunaratne to M Stoinis
1 Pitched up outside off, Stoinis drives it to the left of mid off and collects a single.
