So, that is it from me, Karthik Raj and my co-commentator, Vikhyat. Stay tuned to OneCricket's coverage of a lot more matches.
Kevin Pietersen was named as the 'Player of the Match' but he handed it over to Monty Panesar.
Kevin Pietersen: The decision to call back Khaled Mashud was taken in the spirit of the game. I consulted with Phil Mustard and decided that it was only fair to call him back as he would have reviewed it if the DRS was available. Every single bowler performed for us. It is a very special thing to be playing cricket in India.
Nafees Iqbal: We are losing too many wickets at the early stages. We need to improve and have to give good totals for the bowlers to defend. Our top batsmen have to click. Hopefully we get better in the next match. They (England) were really good, they bowled in the right spots, their application was better. They were the better team.
Time for the presentation ceremony
However, this didn't perturb Pietersen as he continued to smash the opponent bowlers. Bangladesh Legends captain removed Pietersen for a well-made 42 off 17 balls but it was too little too late. The spinners also strangled the duo of Darren Maddy and Chris Schofield but the former took his time and stayed till the end to get England across the line in a comprehensive manner.
What an emphatic way to bring up the victory. England wrap up a seven wicket-victory with six overs to spare. Bangladesh were never in the contest after posting just 113-5. England's opening duo of Phil Mustard and Kevin Pietersen went after the Bangladesh bowlers from the word go. Mustard also used a piece of fortune as he wasn't given out after edging a superb delivery from Mohammad Sharif. The English pair went onto add 46 off just 22 balls before Mustard holed out to long-on.
